A great tutoring session this afternoon, with super focus from my little tutee! We keep it active in between our sitting activities and tasks are kept short and snappy to maintain attention. He loves dinosaurs so he stomps on the sound footprints as we go through them.

Just planning for my tutoring session tomorrow. Look at the progress we're making with letter formation!

We've been using playdough and sand to strengthen hand muscles and make marks before moving to actual letters over the last few weeks.

Welcome to LC Tutoring! I've been teaching for 15 years across Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2, and have a wealth of experience teaching children aged 4-11. During my teaching career I've planned and taught interventions for children who have needed support to achieve their full potential in reading, writing and maths. At various points, I've had the pleasure of working with children 1:1 and can honestly say this is one of the most rewarding parts to the job. I love to see children's confidence and knowledge grow from learning tailored specifically for them. This is why I've officially started privately tutoring!
