Autumn woodland walks ππ
As part of our autumnal learning we will be taking some of the children out on woodland walks, next week and the week after.
Please can we ask you to bring a NAMED pair of wellie boots for your child if they attend on the following sessions:
w/c 30/09 Tuesday and Friday mornings
w/c 07/10 Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning
Don't forget to collect those Autumn treasures in your bags too please!
Your child will soon be bringing home a bag for collection of 'Autumn treasures'!
We would love the children to go on a walk to collect any autumn treasures they find along their way. Please encourage your child to put them in their bag and bring it into nursery for our discussions about autumn next week. We have made a checklist of suggestions of some of the things that they might find.
This time of significant seasonal change is a great opportunity to nurture children's inquisitive nature and teach them about what happens during autumn.
Encouraging children to immerse themselves in the colours of autumn not only enriches their lives but also cultivates a lifelong connection with nature and a sense of wonder for the changing seasons.
We're looking forward to seeing what they find! πππ

We are pleased to inform you our internet and telephone lines are now working again!
We're happy to advise that we are now able to send and receive emails, and our normal nursery landline (01202 690800) is working again. Tapestry uploads will be resuming too. The lovely Open Reach man with his cherry-picker has sorted out the problem for us, thank goodness!
Unfortunately our internet problems are also now affecting our telephone line!
BT Open Reach have come out this morning and identified the problem is with the outdoor line. The engineer will be returning later today with another team member who is able to go up a ladder to reach the affected line, and will hopefully be able to resolve the problem for us then.
Until we let you know differently, please call the nursery on our emergency mobile number instead of the nursery landline if you need to get hold of us.
The number to use is: 07470 418 804
Apologies once again for any inconvenience. We're doing our very best to resume our normal service but are completely dependent on BT fixing the problem for us!
We're still having internet problems!
So sorry everyone, but the Open Reach team we were promised haven't arrived this morning and follow up conversations have told us their engineering team aren't currently available!
They've promised to let us know in the next 24hrs or so when they will be able to come out to fix our internet, but in the meantime please contact us by telephone if you have an urgent messages for us.
It's very frustrating but we do hope that normal service will resume soon!
Our Montessori activities are proving to be very popular πππ₯
As part of this term's 'All About Me' project helping us to get to know all of our children, we will be talking about 'Pets' for two weeks from w/c Monday 16th September.
If any of the children have pets at home, please could we ask that you either upload pictures of them onto tapestry, or allow your child to bring a photograph of their pet into nursery?
We will be asking the children to share these with their friends and teachers during group time. They love to share things about home when in nursery, and this helps to give us an insight into their home lives and get to know them a little better.
Thank you for your help, we're looking forward to seeing their photos!

Please can we ask for your help with our topic in nursery 'The Oceans'?
We would like the children to be able to paint sea shells, and wondered if any of you who might be visiting the beach during this hot weather could maybe collect some and bring into the nursery for the children to decorate?
We would be most grateful for your help with our sea shell art project. All donations gratefully received!
