Over the moon to finally have my mojo back, all thanks to

2024 the year CWP turns 40!
Oh, and me! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’d always promised myself that I wouldn’t be fat and 40.

At 36 I thought I’d cracked it, and with time to spare!
Then along came Edward 👩‍🍼

Don’t ask me what I’ve been doing for the last year, because I honestly can’t answer you, and let’s face it, anything I could say would just be an excuse!

Luckily for me, my birthday isn’t until late December so I have a whole year to get back to goal 🤘🏼

First week weigh in and I’m down 5lbs 🥳

Haven’t been as good as I could have, but a lot better than I could have been! Slowly slowly, catch the monkey 🙈

For me the first week is always a bit like this - I mean it’s a big change!
Should probably practice what I used to preach and have a couple of weeks preparing by cutting down on certain things, but I just don’t roll like that 😂
One minute I will be living my best life, then out of nowhere I will decide tomorrow is the day.

9 months out, and I’ve only lost about a stone and a half 😅

Was kinda hoping I’d be getting the short shorts out of the loft at this point 😂😂

5lbs gone! I can almost taste the 11’s, and more importantly the unlocking of the majority of my wardrobe 😆

It may be grey and wet right now, but Summer will be here before you know it! At least that’s what I keep telling myself 😆

So over winter 🙄

Hopefully by the time everyone is rocking their short shorts, I will be back to this weight AT LEAST!

May have treated myself a tad more than I’d planned to, but knowing when to rein it in has paid off 🙌

Still majorly annoyed with myself for gaining 2 stone, but it will be gone in no time. As I tell my clients, chuck it in the f&@! It bucket and press on! 😜

So what changed?

After I had Nancy I was full of joy, but also full of worry.

Oh great, fattest Mum at the school gates - again!

Wonder if I’ll fit in that kids ride?

📷 quick! Hide behind the child!

Oh brill, a kids party adults have to stay at - sit in the corner and don’t even acknowledge the buffet and avoid all eye contact with other Mums!

Plus this time around I no longer had youth on my side

All of these thoughts filled my head as I sat cradling my newborn. I did not want to feel like that this time around. I was getting a do over! Plenty of time to be who I wanted to be in time for the school run!

So I dug deep, and before I knew it I was nearly there - like magic!

Massive well done to all the winners and nominees at last nights slimmers awards.
