We have started 2024 with this wonderful client who wanted a fuller lip ⬇️

We offer a variety of treatments in our nurse led clinic.

We respected the natural lip anatomy and boarders. We had to correct a slight asymmetry our client wasn't happy about.

Bottom picture is immediately after treatment so there is some swelling. Bruising is common with this treatment. This client didn't bruise because we took our time with this treatment. She also avoided caffeine, alcohol and certain medications before treatment 👏

Our client said it was completely different to lip filler she previously had done elsewhere.
She said she felt comfortable, not rushed and was given all the information she required.

5 things you can do that seriously help you and us before your injectable treatments:

Avoid alcohol 48 hours before. Alcohol is a vasodilator which will increase your chances of bruising the next day

We would prefer you didn't take anti inflammatories such as Ibuprofen. If you get a headache take Paracetamol. Any anti inflammatories will definitely increase your chances of bruising and bleeding.

We would prefer you didn't go to the gym before you come to see us. Your body will be hotter from all the fast blood pumping. Again increasing your chances of bruising

Its best not to take some homeopathic remedies before you come to see us.
Things like ginnsing, vitamin E, evening primrose oil and st John's wart. These things can effect recovery, healing and bruising.

Please don't come to clinic if you are unwell
We won't treat clients that ate unwell anyway. Re book another time.

We completed a facial anatomical assessment and listened to our clients concerns.

We first addressed the lateral pull and skin laxity.

We gently injected dermal filler into the cheeks. We injected onto the zygomatic bone or as us nurses say 'kissing the bone'. We used the deep aspirate technique to make sure the injection was safe. This treatment supports the mid face and tear trough ligament which was pulling the face down.

We then used advanced wrinkle softening techniques, 2 weeks apart. Carefully placing the correct dose in the target area at the correct depth. Staying well away from the eye zones likely to cause side effects (orbicularis oculi) while injecting close enough to work.

We then prescribed an individual medical grade skincare regimen by PCA Skin UK to use at home.
This has helped improve the condition of the skin and lighten the pigmentation and photo sensitivity damage.

Slight glitch on my name there but never mind! I may be a little poor at remembering to post on social media, but that’s cos I’m mostly off doing other more exciting things like keeping my knowledge up to date and learning new things! Waaaay more exciting than trying to think of stuff to post! This training was super interesting, running through the latest research on women’s heart health, risks for cardiovascular disease and what we can do via diet and lifestyle to improve our chances of not just a long life, but a healthful one.
