Previous colour was not done by me and she experienced severe breakage and bleach damage, after a very long first appointment a few months back she returned for a regrowth appointment and we used the new Biolage Bond Therapy Treatment, Shampoo, Conditioner and leave in smoothing cream.
This is the MOST damaged hair I have ever dealt with, once the hair is dead the only way is to cut it off but for some ladies this option is just too much to bare, so we work together to find a compromise until such a time where all damage can be removed. That said after just one bond therapy treatment I would say the condition and appearance of the damaged hair has improved by around 40%! This gives us some time to get a little more length before going for the scissors and soon enough she was have healthy hair once again 🤩

Do you know that if you have good quality clip in extensions the clips can be removed can the wefts can be used as a sew in weave.

They may be bulkier than a standard weft but the convenience of not having to clip them in and out can be a real benefit 🌟

This morning we did a little math…
This is Norma.. Norma has been my customer for just over 13 years

Norma has had bleach highlights every time for 13 years

Her Colour appt is every 8 weeks

And

She has a wash/blow dry curls or straighten and back comb almost every week

Doing the math Norma has spent approximately £5,500 in 13 years

She never has to wash her hair herself so never buys shampoo, based on average supermarket priced shampoo.. without calculating the cost of purchasing hairdryers etc

She has saved approx £2700 in 13 years not buying shampoo and conditioner

Thus her hair has cost around £2800 in 13 years which is approx £4 per week!!!!!

Less than the average male spends on a hair cut and her hair always looks lovely!

I am no longer young (40 this year!!!) I have been hairdressing for more than 15 years, I trained as a mature student and worked in a busy salon for 8 years, during which time my husband and I had 2 children then I decided to move my business and clients to my home salon.

Almost 5 years ago we welcomed our third child and post covid I took a step back for a while and slowed things right down, now our children are all in education, and I finally have my spark back, I am re educating in certain areas and working 5/6 days per week again.

In my salon you do not have to worry about parking, it’s completely private (unless it’s ironing day) you are welcome to bring your children, I have them too 😉 and I understand childcare can be difficult at times. Come in your pjs and slippers, cry through your whole appt because your boss is under your skin or smile from ear to ear because you are getting married and want to chew someone’s ear off. Anything goes.

NB I do also have a gorgeous Labradoodle Eric who is around, this is his home too, he doesn’t jump or bark he really is a soppy boy but if dogs are not your thing just give me the heads up before your appt.
