When you think you don’t have enough room to grow your own veggies and then you come out with over 50 potatoes from only a 30x30 cm raised bed 💥💥💥

I always get so excited when I see what is possible from a small back garden. Knowing that we are eating fresh produce right from our back garden without the use of any sprays or chemicals, this is true happiness 🥰🥰

The Garden is starting to produce some lovely veg for us now ❤️❤️ My favourite part about having our own raised beds is that I get to see them grow from a small little seed to a beautiful full grown plant 🌱

If you are wondering, I don’t have a very big back garden but we are still able to grow around 8-10 different varieties of plants and a few fruits as well. So just give it a go whatever size garden you have, just have fun with it.

I often hear from clients that the idea of cooking is very overwhelming, or they just don’t like cooking. I think there are so many recipes out there that use lots of ingredients or we think that our meal needs to look as beautiful as theirs so we don’t even attempt to try the recipe.

My advice is always to keep it simple, ensure you are getting good quality protein, healthy fats, fibre and different colours in your meal. This is the way to approach health and wellness. No judgement, no need to take pictures of what you are eating (even though I am right now 🤣). Just make what you know in your heart is healthy for your family. Real food that grows from the ground, or eats what grows from the ground. No unknown ingredients ❤️❤️❤️

The moments in life when we can pause, nurture and nourish our bodies with living foods ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

A delicious, simple, paleo, refined sugar free, gluten free banana bread recipe 😍😋

If you are feeling like something sweet with your cup of green tea or organic coffee this is it. And who doesn’t love banana bread with a bit of chocolate on top ❤️❤️❤️

Preheat oven 170c

2 cups ground almonds
1/2 tsp xanthum gum
1 tsp gf baking soda
Pinch Himalayan salt
1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon

1/2 cup melted butter cooled
1/4 cup maple syrup, you could@prob omit this for sugar free
2 organic eggs
3 bananas mashed - medium not small
70-85% dark chocolate

Mix wet together, in separate bowl mix dry then combine and pour into lined loaf tin. Bake around 40minutes then allow to cool. Slice and enjoy. Will keep in sealed container for 4-5 days.

ME TIME ☺️❤️ I sometimes forget about this important part of my life, especially with a 4 year old. Tonight I needed to get out for a walk, I hungered for nature and so I went out for 30 minutes alone, in silence to be by MYSELF surrounded by the beauty of this tiny jem just around the corner from where I live.

What have you done today for your ME TIME? Have you given yourself the freedom to be YOU today? This is so important to help us rebalance our energies and to calm the mind and soul.

Foraging for your own food is a whole new experience. Today I spent an amazing day with my tribe and to learn about our local wild plants that we can forage, cook up and enjoy.

We even had the opportunity to prepare our own wood pigeon along with our foraged nettles, dandelion, dandelion flowers and ground elders.

There is something really special about being in nature, harvesting and preparing your own wild food ❤️🤗

ALCOHOL FREE doesn’t have to mean boring. Just grab yourself a WOW glass that makes you feel like you are enjoying that special something and sip away. I poured myself some cold sparkling water, topped with some delicious berries, you could even juice some and make it pink.

During holidays like this weekend when the sun is out and it’s hot, It can be easy to lose sight of your goals. Maybe it is going alcohol free, or not having chocolate this year, or doing a challenge that supports your health long term.

Just remember why you chose this journey in the first place? What did you want to achieve in 1,2,3 or 6 months?

Spring is here and the garden is almost ready for the new growing season 🌱🥒🥬🧄

When you just need a bit of warmth and comfort during the day ❤️❤️❤️

My go to soup is so easy to make and a hit with the whole family. Here’s what you need:

📝 1 white onion chopped into 4
📝 1 large sweet potato peeled and chopped
📝 2-3 garlic cloves leave in skin
📝 1-2 carrots chopped
📝 1/2 large butternut squash
📝 1/2 large red pepper
📝 sprinkle of ground turmeric and ground cumin
📝 olive oil or avocado oil drizzle

Chop veggies, place onto baking tray and drizzle with oil, and spices. Toss to coat and sprinkle with sea salt and pepper.

Place on oven at 200c for about 30 minutes. Remove when soft and add to blender with just enough filtered water to cover. Blend until smooth and adjust to your taste. Could add some chili or red pepper flakes for a kick too 👍

It can be done! A very small garden can produce an amazing organic cauliflower ❤️🤗🤗

I think this was one of my favourites this year as I transplanted them from a small pot and didn’t think they would survive or let alone thrive. Then this bad boy kept on growing and growing until a huge cauliflower formed. The only thing is I may have left it slightly too long out in garden hence the greenish colour, but still tasted lovely.

I used it instead of rice for an egg fried rice side dish and it was perfect 👌

The freshest organic kale you can get your hands on ..... straight from the back garden ❤️

This was our first year growing our own veggies and there we some real winners - organic beetroot, organic carrots, organic pak Choi, organic spinach, organic peas, and organic beans. Also some herbs too!

Sad to see the growing season almost coming to an end but we already have some winter spinach, turnips and cauliflower on the rise 🤗
