Well done to Andy & Rob who completed the Blenheim Palace triathlon today in under two hours!

One of our customers contacted us to advise that some of the offices had poor heating. 🥶 Our service engineer attended site, found the system was short of refrigerant due to a perforated coil.
Replacement coil was ordered and new one installed within 2 weeks of the initial call out.
Safe to say one happy customer 😁

Happy 20 Years Andy Burt 🥳🥳

This week marks a special time at WM Air Conditioning. We are celebrating Andy Burt who has been with WM for 20 years. Andy came to the company as a young man who was employed by our founder Bill, as a apprentice helping on maintenance and service. As the company grew Andy was promoted throughout the ranks and is now one of our most productive project managers. Not only is he very knowledgeable he is also a great asset to the team at WM. We are very proud to have him. We cant wait to see what the next 20 years holds.

Thorough, precise and superb work
We had air conditioning installed by WM Aircon and we are extremely satisfied with the work and the product (Daikin Perfera FVXM-A, floor standing unit that also replaced our radiators as it is very efficient in cooling and heating via heatpump).

We requested a proposal for different options, covering multiple rooms and Andy, the project manager, extensively researched customised solutions for us that took into account price, aesthetics and future-proofing for potential extensions. The communication was always clear and the proposal detailed and precise, not like so often where you just get an obscure total amount with no details.

The work on site was meticulous and done with the utmost care. Specifically we liked how everything was well thought through, be it how to avoid trunking or how to line everything up so that it looks neat and tidy. Andy really went above and beyond to make sure the installation had the most minimal impact on the inside and the outside of the house.

The Daikin devices they suggested work perfectly and are very silent inside and outside. We already decided to invest in more rooms to be covered and will 100% choose WM once again.

I think it's safe to say that summer is finally here 🌞
But with this beautiful weather comes them sleepless nights. 😴

We were originally contacted by a customer seeking advice about installing equipment to their 2nd floor bedroom and gym area located on the 1st floor. Our customer felt the wall mounted units are not pleasing on the eye so wanted to see what his options were. We proposed installing Daikin floor mounted units, to have the radiators in each room drained and removed and pipe work to be capped. The Daikin units could then replace the radiators and they can also be used in a heating setting throughout the winter.

Our very experienced engineer noticed that there were eaves next to the unit in the bedroom which meant all the pipework, cables and condensate drains could be hidden making it more aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately this wasn't possible in the gym area, so a small length of white trunking following the skirting was used to house the services to the outside wall. Which made the finish a lot neater.

Our engineer made every effort to make sure that the two pipework holes on the outside of the house lined up so that they could be hidden in the same vertical level of the black trunking to match up with the guttering this also hid all the pipework to the external units.

Safe to say it was a job well done. 👏 The customer loves it that much he's decided to go for more Air Conditioning in other parts of the house!!

Vacancy For Experienced Lead HVAC Installation Engineer

We have a great opportunity for an experienced HVAC Installation Engineer to join our team. You need to have good knowledge of VRV/VRFs as well as standard split systems. You will have your FGAS Certificate and CSCS Card as well as a clean driving licence.
We are based just outside Oxford in Stanton Harcourt. Our customers range from Hospitals, Schools, Universities, Formula One Race Teams, Pubs, Clubs and residential properties, the majority of our work is based locally although some of our work is currently in London.
We offer a van, good salary, pension scheme, 20 days holiday increasing up to 26 days plus Bank Holidays. Twice a year we have company parties, last Christmas we went to an event in Reading 1920s style where everyone had a ball. We are due to have a summer party, a little less formal, in the next couple of months.

Last week whilst on site visits, we popped in to see how our Install Engineers were getting on at Lucy Group Offices. 🏢

As this is a working office. We are doing the install in stages so that its less destructive on their employees. As you can see from the images we have completed the basement offices and reception area. We are very proud of our engineers neat and tidy work. We will update you on our progress over the next few weeks! 👷‍♂️

Our Engineer had to channel his inner Allan Titchmarsh on site today.👨‍🌾 He was there to carry out a Pre-Planned Maintenance and found that the Ivy was over grown.

Ivy can cause real damage to condensing units, especially if it wraps around the fan motor, this could potentially mean a whole new unit.
