The most divine lips to work on 😍
You might be surprised to know that this is just 0.7mls of filler - super premium filler though, so a little goes a long way to give incredibly natural volume.
Minimal bleeding and on leaving clinic no bruising - but bruises can pop up after a few hours!
Took about 20 minutes to create, I inject quite slowly and stop to re- assess as I go. Taking my time ensures patient safety and causes less trauma to the lip. Yes lip filler is a little uncomfortable but it’s never as bad as you think it’s going to be- plus premium filler will last you a good 12 months ❤️
What a lush review 🥰🥰
Happy International Nurses Day to all my fabulous fellow nurses ❤️
This is one of about 2 photos of me in a uniform 😂
I’m beyond proud of my nursing career, I often get asked about ‘when I used to be a nurse’ - I still am a nurse, I worked too bloody hard to give any of that up. I just work in a different way to how most ‘traditional’ nurses do. My role now allows me to work in the holistic manner that I always wanted, something that is often impossible to do within the NHS.
I can remember when I was training, I was on placement on a children’s surgical ward. The Matron told me off for spending too much time with the young patients… it was madness and I can remember feeling so disappointed that as a young nurse I was already feeling squeezed for time when children were at their most vulnerable. This (along with a couple of other experiences) is one of the reasons I was led to mental health nursing where the emphasis on holistic care is so much greater than general nursing (at that stage in my career that is, although I suspect not much has changed). I love the role I have now created for myself and I still use my nursing & prescribing skills on a daily basis ❤️
I have worked with some of the most incredible nurses and I feel incredibly lucky to call them friends ❤️
Well this one bought a few tears 🥹
Always so grateful for your reviews ❤️
Now this is a story about commitment and consistency.
These photos are several years apart, and I definitely cannot take credit for today’s results (photo to the right is from today).
Skin does not change overnight. In fact we rarely see such drastic changes over several months. There is also rarely one fix. Treating skin conditions like acne requires us to consider many aspects - hormones, lifestyle, skincare, in- clinic treatments etc.
For this patient, home skincare was tweaked to include prescription elements, changes to diet & exercise were made and more recently we’ve used both skin peels and microneedling to keep on top of a few break outs plus tackle the scarring left from her cystic acne.
This is also a story of hope, if you’re struggling with your skin & feel like you are never going to win- there are always options ❤️
This patient now has THE MOST beautiful glowing skin that she has grafted hard for!

The Consultation ❤️
Where all good aesthetic journeys begin, whether you are looking for a full skin health review or a pop of filler, an initial consultation is the perfect place to start.
You may be certain on the treatment you are after but often solo treatments will have implications on other areas of your face so it’s important I explain these to you so there’s no surprises at the end.
And I will always want to explain the importance of good skin care before in- clinic treatments. This isn’t a sales pitch, but the right skin care is the difference between great & amazing treatment results.

When I started my nurse prescribing course over 13 years ago (yes I’m that old), we were taught from day one that the most important prescriptions were the prescriptions you didn’t write. That choosing not to prescribe was more important than prescribing.
And the same goes for injecting. Had a great conversation with a client today about knowing when not to treat -and this can be for a number of reasons. A treatment may not be anatomically correct, it may not be suitable for that particular client, the client may be requesting the treatment for the ‘wrong’ reasons (e.g trends) or maybe the practitioner feels the treatment is not going to give an outcome the client desires (there are many more reasons I’m sure).
Just because we can ‘do something’, doesn’t mean we should. Knowing when to politely say ‘no’ to a treatment is invaluable in aesthetics and in my experience most clients welcome an honest opinion.
The nicest of reviews ❤️
