Hung up my new elsewhere in the house to get a new perspective. It's not quite done, but I can't touch it with a brush again until I know how to finish it off. Once it is finished, it will be available to buy at exclusively! 🥳🥳🥳

Some of my work happens intuitively, and within a few days time I feel it's complete. But with some pieces, the larger work in particular, I have to sometimes spend weeks looking at it until the muse returns and I find the visual tale completed.

I feel this is my own best painting - so much emotion went into this and I've grown very attached to having it around as a reminder of what I went through creating this. Anyone else feel this strongly about a specific piece of work?
Every painting has its own story, but this one feels extra significant.

Took my favourite and most precious abstract painting of all time to my own little gallery in V**e Ventures -Wivenhoe and now miss seeing it at home 😄 Even if you don't v**e, do pop in and have a look. I will get a photograph up tomorrow, but I've spent a lot of time staring at it myself and do feel photos don't do it justice. If you do v**e, Ian is your man! He can talk about the benefits of va**ng over smoking all day long and gives brilliant advice on what's best for you, without trying to sell you things you won't want or need to make some money. He's honestly a lovely guy and worth having a chat with if you want to give up smoking! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Wivenhoe is a wonderful place to live. It's home for so many reasons, but the amazing community support and spirit is something I have never experienced elsewhere like I have living here.

We joke sometimes when we realise someone has been 'wivenhoe'd' , but it's only funny because it's true and we recognise ourselves in that person who has just discovered that Wivenhoe magic.

I'm so lucky to have so many friends, my love, my family, fellow creatives and local small business owners supporting me through my creative journey, and if there's one thing I've learnt it's that being kind to others will eventually bring good fortune.

A big thank you to Ian at **e_ventures for exhibiting my Woodscapes in your windows 🙏🏾❤ Your shop is amazing and I'm pleased you are finally open properly with premium quality juice after such a rough start due to lockdown. Thank you wonderful Joe and Nigel for helping us form this partnership, and for a great friendship.
