CLIENT PB! - DEADLIFT 100kg (5 reps) LEG PRESS 200kg (20 reps)
Me and Tom have been training for the past 7 months now and each session his fitness and strength always improves!
He consistently gives me 100% and never backs down from a challenge to really push himself.
Last night was a big milestone in his training! We attempted 80kg for 4 reps a few weeks ago but couldn’t manage anymore… today he smashed 100kg for 5 reps. We’ve never gone above 160kg on leg press…but what’s better than one PB in a session…..TWO!

A brutal quad dominated super set for a killer leg day. She smashes it every time and never complains.

ARE YOU TARGETING THE RIGHT MUSCLES ON THE LEG PRESS
QUADS - Narrow low stance on the platform making sure to drive through the heels - keeping the knees straight
GLUTES - High and wide stance making sure to get good depth - but not too much that your bum comes up off the seat
ADDUCTORS - High and wide stance, making sure to pull the knees open, pausing at the bottom to increase intensity

LAST LIFT OF HEAVY WEEK 130kg BENCH PRESS
After probably one of the heaviest weeks I’ve had… we finish on a heavy bench. The last time I attempted a bench this heavy was about a year and a half ago and I was 10kg heavier and hitting 135kg 1RM.
After a lot of pre and monster, I managed to get 130kg for 1.
Happy but I wanted more, but struggled to lift 140 and then 135 off the rack. But I’m still glad I managed to hit 130kg.
Heavy week lifts
Mon - Deadlift - 210kg for 3
Tues - Squat - 100kg for 8
Wednesday - DB Press - 50kg for 5
Thursday - Military Press - 60kg for 6
Friday - Bench Press - 130kg for 1
PB 210kg for 3 reps
I’m so happy I managed to get this up after failing 200kg for 2 three weeks ago.
Two weeks of deload and a fat off burger yesterday made this fly up.
This time last year I could only hit 205kg for 1 rep….
230kg I’m coming for you!

I still don’t know how I managed to do it in this heat…new PB!! 5x5 top set 190kg, the first four sets were going up with ease so I grabbed the belt and upped the weight by another 20kg.
Form felt good, face felt red, thought my eyes were going to pop out!

I’ve never tried to progress on my dumbbell press - I’d always sick to mid 30s and rep it out for 10 reps with ease.
My goal for the end of the year is to get 50s for 8 reps.
Today I managed 44kg for 7….we’re on the right track💪🏻

HEAVY SQUATS
This is the first time I’ve attempted heavy squats in a LONG time.
My goal for this week is to test my strength on the main compounds (bench, squat and deadlift) and to compare it in 2 months
Some how my glute & hamstrings day turned into maxing out squats…. cheers
Managed to hit 110kg for a triple - although did hit 120kg for one rep (but it wasn’t pretty)
