Blueberry Toys in Wokingham are looking for a part time Sales Assistant to work in the shop for either the morning or afternoon during the week including over school holidays. Tasks include serving customers, opening and closing the shop and taking payments.

Previous retail experience would be an advantage but not essential. The chosen person must be reliable, confident and able to work on their own initiative and trustworthy.

Available hours are:

Mondays 10am -1pm or 1 to 4.00pm (3 hours)

and /or

Fridays 10am-1pm 1 to 4.00pm (3 hours)

Competitive salary, dependent on age and experience.

Blueberry Toys in Wokingham are looking for two weekend Sales Assistants to work in the shop. Tasks include serving customers, opening and closing the shop and taking payments.

Previous retail experience would be an advantage but not essential. The chosen person must be reliable, responsible, trustworthy and able to work on their own initiative. Ideally working either Saturday and Sunday morning or afternoon.

Available hours are:
Saturday 9.30am to 1.00pm (3.5 hours)
Saturday 1.00pm to 5pm (4 hours)
Sunday 10am to 1pm (3 hours)
Sunday 1pm to 4pm (3 hours)
Competitive salary, dependent on age and experience.

Orchard toys are rightly very popular amongst both parents and children and we are proud to stock a number of their games and puzzles. I also highly recommend their colouring and sticker books which we also stock. These are great value at only £2.99.

For today’s product showcase I’ve decided to show our wall of cuddly toys. We have all sorts of different animals and bears and I’m sure there is something for everyone. After all who doesn’t love a cuddly toy?

I was quite shocked when one of our suppliers recommended this toy to us. I remember Care Bears from when I was a child and so it seems did many of our customers who bought one. 80s toys definitely seem to be back in vogue.

As today is my birthday I’ve decided to showcase my favourite product from the shop - Plus-Plus. Prior to setting up Blueberry Toys we were not even aware of Plus-Plus, but on being shown it I realised what an amazing fidget toy it was. It is the toy that I play with in the shop and the one that I will always recommend because I genuinely love it. As you get better with it you realise what a versatile construction toy it is and that there really are no limits as to what you can build. Tubes start at £5.99 and give you more than enough pieces to get going.

In today’s product showcase we return to Fiesta, this time with their fabric star reward charts and calendars. As always with Fiesta toys these are fantastically bright and colourful and of course well made. Great value at £34.99.
