The 54 Challenge is here!🏆💜🦋

This Wednesday and Thursday we will have the Together for Short Lives 54 Challenge Cup in store as it stops off for a break on its tour of the UK! Whilst we have the cup, there will be all sorts of fun in store, including, sponsored bike ride, bric a brac sale and a trolley raffle.

Join us in raising £540,000 for Together for Short Lives and the 54 children’s hospices across the UK, just like Alexander Devine. 🏆🏅

Berkshire lowland search and rescue received a well deserved grant from the Morrisons foundation. I was lucky enough to be shown the new equipment and hear all about how this will be a huge help for the water team.

Sadly Berkshire Lowland Search & Rescue are increasingly being called to search rivers, lakes and ponds to search for persons reported missing.
A generous grant from The Morrisons Foundation has allowed the water team to invest in one of the most advanced sonar systems commercially available, the Hummingbird Sonar Helix 15 with 360 Mega imaging.
The sonar was presented to the Team by Megan, Morrisons Community Champion Woosehill Wokingham.

Mike Rennie, Water Lead for Berkshire Lowland Search & Rescue said “ This technology dramatically improves the capability of the Team and what we can offer to Thames Valley Police and Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue” “ We are extremely grateful to Morrisons Foundation, without their support we would not have access to such technology” “Our Team are training hard to familiarise themselves to make the best use of this outstanding equipment”

Great to meet Megan the new Community Champion at Morrisons in Woosehill this morning. Not only did she donate a bag of goodies for our Ladies Pamper Evening on 13 October, she’s also full of other ideas as to how Morrisons Community Champion Woosehill can support Home-Start going forward. Massive thanks Megan - we are so grateful for your support 🙏

A lovely morning at the health and well-being event for CLASP.

This shelf is normally full of toilet roll but sadly our stocks have dwindled and we will run out by the end of the week. If you are able to buy a few rolls and pop them in one of our supermarket collection points it would be muxh appreciated!
