Description

Lovingly restored tall boy with huge storage capabilities without being overbearing.

Finished in Frenchic Wise Old Sage, this is an elegant neutral, this totally timeless sage green ticks so many boxes. Its whisper of a grey undertone effortlessly sets the mood in any space, from country cottage to modern botanical.

It is very practical with a flip top lid and a new integral mirror. Inside the flip lid it has been finished in a contrasting blue colour (farrow & ball stiffkey blue) - means you can open the top and showcase your daily accessories, if a girl that could be jewellery, hair styling products/brushes, make-up and more. And if a boy could be hair products/combs, electric shaver - all those bits and bobs that are normally scattered around a bedroom!
Say goodbye to any kind of cosmetic clutter!

All 4 drawers are very deep so ample storage space. Open any of the drawers and you’ll see a beautiful Moroccan design stencil down the sides just to add a bit of quirkiness! Inside each I’ve done a couple of coats of teak oil so all looking as good as new!

The original brass handles were just too
perfect not to reuse so these have been cleaned and polished and now like new !

The whole piece has been sealed with a Polyvine Matt varnish whilst the top drawer has been left unpainted and brown waxed to show off the beautiful oak grain.

If you’d like me to paint any additional
bits to match I can of course do this for you.

All pieces that I restore have been previously owned and loved and may have some signs of wear, knocks and bumps which just adds character. Saying that this piece is in immaculate condition

Sometimes doing something a little bit different means it may just take longer to sell 😏 no matter how much fun i had doing it it still needs a new home 🏠

So…. if anyone wants to make me an offer on this quirky bedside table before I contemplate a re-do?

FOR SALE - After being sanded back this Nathan has been finished in both Fusion Midnight Blue and Tuscan Orange. Also been given a new set of cool retro legs to provide some height so he’s now funky, fun and unique ! Could make a perfect drinks cabinet, media unit or hallway table or possibly a great gaming /tv unit as plenty of space for a PlayStation and games ....its uses are endless. He’s now looking for his forever home where he will definitely be centre of attention!
The whole piece has been protected with a clear matt varnish for extra protection

Something a little bit different from me! Such good fun creating this quirky little side table

This pretty, unique and quirky table would be a perfect addition to a pink lovers dream room 💕

This nostalgic, whimsical, pretty side table is now ready for its new home.

Finished using eco-friendly pastel
pink furniture paint with a harlequin stencilled pattern in gold metallic on the top and sides, some black/white stripe detailing and freshly sprayed gold disc handles.

Open the drawers and the quirkiness continues, beautifully lined with a complimenting contrasting paper and the harlequin design continues down the sides.
These drawers will definitely come in handy for all those girly bits and bobs

A Fantastic Mid Century Nathan Sideboard Lovingly Refurbished
These pieces of vintage furniture are very desirable and sought after.
Fully prepped before painting. Its been thoroughly cleaned, sanded and cleaned again before painting with Fusion Mineral paint, a custom colour blend mix of Algonquin and Bayberry
The top has been sanded back to raw wood and then white washed before protecting with a polyx white tinted oil for a robust finish
The fronts of the four doors have been stencilled using a bold ribbons retro design in a great contrasting colour.

This piece would look amazing either in the hallway of your home or as extra storage maybe in the kitchen or dining room. Or perhaps a tv unit as plenty of space inside for your sky box/ games console. A very adaptable piece.
