POV - Skipping using a primer on certain woods is just cutting corners and can lead to sap coming through the paint finish with pine wood. Or, with mahogany or other red woods, a pink tannin will rise through discolouring your hard work.

If upcycling wood furniture, invest in the right primer, contrary to popular belief, wood can need a primer, especially with pale colours like this customer’s commission.

Another beautiful furniture upcycle commission completed for a lovely couple.

This oak desk was stripped and given a subtle white wash oil finish by Fusion, coupled with fern metallic decoupage detailing. A subtle transformation was asked for and delivered.

Steampunk is back! A fantastic statement wall art piece, perfect to inject some modern art into the home.
