The Brain has two windows that we need to take advantage of. The first window is before age nine, as the grey matter completely develops. Then at the age of 19 when the white matter completely develops

Is your child experiencing challenging behaviour like meltdowns, hostility, anger, or aggression. Did the incident seem to come out of the blue? More than likely, there was a trigger that you didn’t notice or something that was building for a period of time. That “something” could be anger rumination. This 7-year-old was suffering from Rumination syndrome and unfortunately, he was left in distress for years. He had a tendency to vomit every day 3 to 4 times whenever he was asked to do something he did not like.. this left him depleted and in distress. This distressing symptom was cured within 24 hours by something as simple as batch flowers.
I reflect on this case here

The brain is a hungry organ and kids not eating at school means degeneration of neurons.

It's summertime, and a lot is happening, but for me, this is an amazing opportunity to give my son my undivided attention to maximise his potential.
Not sure where to start; here is a good resource.
Have fun with the kids, low key simple activities at home and in your garden, with low sensory input, will yield amazing results.
The Son-Rise Program Maximum Impact - Advanced Autism Training Maximum Impact is a “must-have” experience for those working with their children using The Son‑Rise Program. It provides more tools, solutions, & guidance.
A 10-year-old girl with a string of disabilities has been left with no school to go to after more than 50 exclusions during her short lifetime.
Janice Weeks has now been permanently excluded from her special needs school in Milton Keynes, leaving her parents sick with worry that she will never get the education she deserves.
Sidenote* take time to understand what your child needs this summer. The majority of schools are ill equipped to support our kids .. for many we are asking, should we be homeschooling or should we send our kids back into school this September.
Helping a picky eater can be challenging, but understanding the underlying factors and implementing appropriate strategies can make a significant difference. Here are some key points to consider when helping a child who is a picky eater:
1. Normal Development: Recognize that picky eating is common during childhood and often a normal phase. Many children go through stages of food neophobia (fear of new foods) and exhibit selective eating habits.
2. Nutritional Requirements: Ensure your child's nutritional needs are met.
3. Food Environment: Create a positive food environment at home. Offer a variety of healthy foods and model good eating habits yourself. Make mealtimes enjoyable, relaxed, and free from distractions like screens or toys. Encourage family meals whenever possible.
4. Exposure and Variety: Introduce a wide range of foods, flavours, textures, and colours to expand your child's palate. Encourage trying new foods, but avoid pressure or forceful tactics, as they can backfire. Offer small, age-appropriate portions and give praise for any positive efforts.
5. Gradual Progression: Allow your child to progress at their own pace. Start by introducing new foods alongside familiar ones, gradually increasing the variety and complexity over time. Offer repeated exposure to previously rejected foods, as research shows that repeated exposure can increase acceptance.
6. Food Preparation and Presentation: Involve your child in meal planning and preparation. Let them participate in age-appropriate tasks like washing vegetables, stirring, or setting the table. Make meals visually appealing by arranging food creatively or using colourful plates and utensils.
7. Positive Reinforcement: Praise your child for their willingness to try new foods or even take small steps towards trying them. Use non-food rewards like stickers or special privileges to encourage adventurous eating.
8. Consistency and Routine: Establish regular meal and snack times to provide structure and predictability. Avoid offering alternative options or preparing separate meals for your picky eater, as it can reinforce their selective eating habits.
9. Avoid Power Struggles: Avoid turning mealtimes into battles or engaging in power struggles with your child. Pressure or punishment can create negative associations with food, making the situation worse. Instead, maintain a calm and supportive atmosphere.
10. Seek Professional Help: If your child's picky eating significantly affects their growth, health, or quality of life. They can assess the situation, identify any underlying issues, and provide personalized guidance.
Remember, each child is unique, and it may take time for their eating habits to change. Patience, persistence, and a positive approach are key when helping a picky eater.
Next week we will be discussing how we can navigate these issues in a holistic naturopathic way to maximise potential and change outcomes.

Autism and Vitamin D
99% of the patients we tested came back low in Vitamin D.
Here is why you must consider testing and correcting deficiencies.
Here are some of the potential benefits of vitamin D for children with autism, based on available research:
1. **Immune system support:** Vitamin D plays a crucial role in the functioning of the immune system. Some studies have suggested that children with autism may have altered immune responses and vitamin D supplementation could help support their immune health.
2. **Anti-inflammatory properties:** Vitamin D is known to have anti-inflammatory effects. Inflammation has been linked to some neurological conditions, including autism. By reducing inflammation, vitamin D might potentially have a positive impact on certain autism-related symptoms.
3. **Neurodevelopmental support:** Vitamin D is involved in brain development and function. Some studies have suggested that vitamin D deficiency during pregnancy and early childhood may be associated with an increased risk of autism. Therefore, ensuring adequate vitamin D levels in children might support healthy neurodevelopment.
4. **Behavioural improvements:** Some limited studies have reported that vitamin D supplementation in children with autism may lead to improvements in behaviour, social skills, and adaptive functioning. However, more research is needed to establish a clear link.
5. **Bone health:** Vitamin D is essential for calcium absorption and bone health. Children with autism may have a higher risk of certain comorbidities, including bone density and calcium metabolism issues. Vitamin D supplementation can help support their bone health.
It is important to note that while vitamin D supplementation may have potential benefits, it is not a cure for autism, and its effects can vary from one child to another. Additionally, excessive vitamin D intake can be harmful. Therefore, it's crucial to work with a qualified healthcare provider who can assess the child's specific needs, perform any necessary tests to determine vitamin D levels, and recommend appropriate supplementation if needed.
As research progresses, we may gain a better understanding of the specific benefits of vitamin D for children with autism. Always stay up-to-date with the latest scientific findings and consult healthcare professionals for personalized advice.

We have had successful deep-dive workshops, and we all agree they are too deep but all worth it. Our modern lives do not suit the majority of our genetic makeup and to give our children the chance in life we need to strip and build bottom-up..
here is a 50% discount for the next July workshop. It starts next week Saturday https://www.acctmind.com/Deepdivemayworkshop
Grab some tissues. We are not there yet, but definitely heading the right direction. She is theoretically 5 weeks in ..
Week one and two are the toughest as we strip everything removing obvious triggers and drivers in preparation to help nourish and repair.
It's not just tough for the child who has been used to a particular way of living but the parent too as they have to adjust to a new lifestyle and MAINTAIN it.
This is why we spend hours couching on mindset as it's easy to default back to an easy lifestyle of toast and cereals and microwaves.
Son 9-year-old with recurrent seizures about 10 or more a week .standard plans have failed .... why is the question ??
Possibly because the triggers and the drivers remained.(This I believe is the major reason for the reduction in seizures and elimination of screaming episodes.
Currently, seizures are down to 5 a week.
These are Mum's words.
Sleep is excellent
Things are definitely changing, she said
*sidenote this is our first baby in Cameron.so I am excited .. this supports our mandate to reach a 1000 families this year ..
ITS FRIDAY.. WE GET TO CELEBRATE OUR GAINS . HERE IS A BIG ONE AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS IT .💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃Grateful for the permission to share this testimonial.... Suspended from school and went back in a new kid.. this is not a fluke.. we have had zero episodes .
🤩🤩You may think by now I am not moved by these kind of feedbacks. But I still do.. everyday our kids are labelled and put in a small box.. then drugged... it took a good strategy and a Dedicated Loving Committed mum to pivot this for her child... I promise you...I am honoured to work with parents like you Dr HB.🥰🥰🥰🥰
**sharing with permission ** we are now going on to week four for the deep dive workshop. The reason we scheduled these over a month is for us to be able to champion real change .. for those parents who actively participated from week 1 the results are coming in ..
I always want to be realistic and let parents know this is not a walk in the park ..it's not a sprint ...more so if you have a child with complex behaviour needs. BUT WITH THE CORRECT STRATEGIES you can pivot.
With support and guidance we can adopt to a new way of living and eating, that allows every member of the family to thrive and that includes our babes with complex metabolic issues associated with Autism....
Our mission is to help a 1000 families this year.
Our last workshop for this session begins in 2 weeks reserve place today. Xx

Improve brain health :
The importance of fat as a macronutrient in the diet should be considered, more so when there is a need to optimise brain function.
Fats do provide the right nutrients to restore immunity, the gut and the nervous system. Here are some of the benefits of including fats in your child's diet.
• Greater satiety value.
• Sources of essential fatty acids.
• Sources of choline (needed to synthesise phosphatidylcholine).
• Sources of essential fat-soluble vitamins and phytonutrients.
• Greater flavour enhancement in cooked food.
Animal fats, in particular, aid quicker healing, and they are the best fats to cook with as they do not change their chemical structure when heated.
The following animal fats can be considered
* Butter
* ghee
* pork drippings
* lard
* Lamb fat
* goose fat
* duck fat
* chicken fat

Your Child's Brain Health Is Everything!
You need a credible, qualified, coherent voice to guide you.
Happy Friday beautiful souls. Its been an amazing week for many of our kids .
One thing that continues to be of great importance is the need to be consistent.
Think about it like building muscles.. if you go to the gym for one week then drop out the next then go back the next week... you are likely not going to see results....
Be consistent with the diet
Be consistent with the daily routine
Be consistent with the exercises..
If you can not do it, get some else to support you to maximise results..
From my heart to yours
Happy Friday.
Joshua has three mothers, and they all play different roles in his life.
Being a single mum becomes an easy journey when you have people that support you. Below is my big sister; we call her blue mama ... Her approach to supporting Jojo is spoiling him to the core 🙄 believe you me, we don't agree 🤣🤣
It's her birthday today, and I can only be grateful for her life .. she holds my space when I need her ... Happy birthday, blue mama.🎂
Do you have anyone supporting you?
Do not journey alone, we are here to partner with you if you need support.
Can we try another way before medicating these young brains..
We need to be compassionate with ourselves and our babes.... Trust the process..

it's the first of June today yeeeeee
How are you doing with your 2023 new year resolutions ?
Did you shade the pounds yet ?
Did you clean up the diet?
Are your relationships better?
Did you manage to stick to your routine?
Did you submit that business plan?
How healthy is your bank balance?
What about your spiritual life, is it healthier?
How is your child doing?
I decided to review my 2023 plans today and, I am way out of target in many areas and am asking how did this happen?
To be fair I did well in some areas but in some areas, I need to pivot and course correct for a better end-of-the-year outcome ..
I don't know about you, but I need proper structure and a road map to successfully execute my plans .. going with the flow is way too risky for my character, I get distracted easily.. so I got this book and totally believe this is the remedy I need to pivot.
The 12 Week Year: Get More Done in 12 Weeks than Others Do in 12 Months Get your own copy here https://amzn.eu/d/iNq2ZGj
What we must remember is, we are creatures of habit.. we are what we repeat again and again. To pivot we need to be deliberate creators.. take our lives off autopilot, put our hands on the steering and manually and purposefully drive our OWN lives
Let's finish 2023 with a big bang 😘
Happy Thursday Beautiful Souls

You guys, have you seen my baby lately ???
We have now started documenting how he is closing the last 15 points on ATEC.. One of my friends said you are now dealing with the key ruler of low functioning Autism.... He won't back down easily .. when your child regresses at 2, they have to remap their neural pathways to gain the skills they lost upon regression .. This is not for the faint-hearted .. the beauty about it, though, is he is so willing and desperately ready to close it himself..... beside, we have the added advantage of neuroplasticity 🥰
Why are we sharing ... the Internet has done such a good job highlighting and showcasing the dark side of raising a child with low functioning Autism.... most of the kids circulating on the pages are either struggling or in distress....
Unknown to many parents, the majority of the distress is driven by metabolic or nutritional issues that can be addressed..
Upon seeing the negative circulating posts, many parents are left paralysed with fear and hopelessness and resign to the notion " nothing can be done."
Well, Jojo and I want to change the narrative.... and we ask you to help us do that...
Please hop on to TikTok and follow us there, if you have worked with us, please spread the word on how your child is doing well... we owe it to the collective to raise awareness and bring an end to distressing symptoms kids experience under the disguise of Autism.
