Polly's Garden
Floral creations for weddings, funerals and events
https://linktr.ee/pollysgarden Hi, I'm Sally Pearce, owner of Polly's Garden.
My love of flowers and plants began at a very young age when I helped my nana (Polly) cut flowers from the garden - a traditional English garden with rose beds and a beautiful herbaceous boarder. In my heart I always knew I wanted to work with flowers, but it took me many years to find the right time to forge a new career and formally train as a florist. Funeral Flowers
I deliver funeral flowers all across the local area from Reading to Maidenhead, Henley to Crowthorne.
This pretty design is a traditional based posy and can be made in any colour scheme and in a variety of sizes. This one has ribbon edging though to be honest I prefer a natural foliage edge myself.
You can browse my shop for funeral designs here - https://pollysgarden.co.uk/product-category/funerals/
or just drop me a message if you'd like to have a chat about options.
Shout out to Soul Chill Bubble Tea Shop in Camberley who opened their doors a few weekends ago.
Their lovely family and friends wanted to celebrate their achievement, so they commissioned these fantastic signs for the front of the shop.
Best of luck to them with their business.

Shout out to The Happy Chuppah People who set up this gorgeous natural birch chuppah for D&S's wedding.
We had so much fun decorating it with soft trialling voile and a beautiful array of purple, blue, white and soft pink flowers. I loved this colour scheme: so dreamy!
Thanks Owen for getting it square on uneven ground and saving me a trip back to dismantle it!

22 years with this lovely man. I feel very lucky to have found the one!
I was a teacher, not a florist, when I got married and I look back on my wedding bouquet and realise how much work went into creating it. It was exquisitely wired!
I'm not sure I'd ever want to do my own wedding flowers (too much work on the day!) but I'd love to create your dream wedding florals. Just message me if you'd like to book a free consultation just use the link below to book one at a time that's convenient for you.

The Swan at Streatley
It's just over a year ago that I created these beautiful, classical designs for F&J.
Green and white always look classy and it was fun creating the arch for their church wedding and then a neon sign (sorry no photo) for the evening reception. The tables were so pretty with lots of trialling soft ruscus, candles and delicate bud vases. It all worked beautifully in the gorgeous riverside room at The Swan.
It was an extremely special and emotional day.
If I can help you plan your perfect wedding day, then please message me.x
Woodland Burial Flowers
Woodland burials are becoming ever more popular and being able to inter your loved one in a natural environment is a reassuring thing to do.
However, arranging funeral flowers for such locations takes a little bit of extra thought. Most woodland burial sites do not allow any plastics, floral foam or metal. That means tied designs are obvious choices along with bases created from wood, moss, straw and twine.
If you're organising a woodland burial make sure you talk to your florist about it. I can create almost any 'normal' design in an environmentally friendly way but having a heads-up ensures I can be prepared and you get the perfect farewell flowers.

Weddings and events can be expensive, and buying many props and containers can leave you with full cupboards of stuff that you'll never use again!
That's why I offer a wide range of items for hire for your big day.
Bud vases, pedestal bowls, mirror plates, wood slices, pedestal stands, urns, candle holders, easels, lanterns and even an arch are some of the things I have available.
Hiring items is more sustainable and saves you from
- lugging items to and from your venue
- spending your wedding morning setting things up
- coming home to a houseful of things that need to be cleaned, packed away or sold!
Take the easy route on your special day, and get your florist to take care of all the bits and bobs!!

Anyone else heading away this summer?
I've just been going through some photos from last year and came across this gorgeous shot captured by Paul Rogers Photography.
Paul was kind enough to share the whole album of L&G's wedding at Hedsor House and the pretty church of St Nicholas' Hedsorw ith me. There were hundreds of amazing shots that captured so many beautiful and personal moments of the day. I'm sure the couple were thrilled.
So, if you're looking for a stunning album of photos with a personal touch then I would highly recommend Paul Rogers.

Seasonal Wedding Favourites
Delphinium/Larkspur
There are many varieties of Delphinium from the tightly packed blades of trumpet-shaped flowers to an altogether more delicate stem of dancing bells. Bright striking blue is synonymous with Delphiniums but they are available in pale blue, lavender, pink, white and purple. In fact, I recently saw some deep, bold purple ones at the wholesaler.
I think the blue shouts out summer due to its vibrant colour but these days they are available for much of the year. Delphs provide fantastic height to designs too - perfect for statement pieces, arches and pedestals. And the more delicate, shorter varieties are beautiful in bridal bouquets.
If you'd like to include some of these beauties in your wedding flowers, then just get in touch to book a consultation and we can discuss the best styles, colours and varieties to suit your wedding vision

Memory flowers
There seems to be an increasing and beautiful trend at weddings of honouring those loved ones who are no longer with us.
Little tables filled with sentimental photos and decorated with floral designs are a perfect way to remember these important people at milestone events in life.
Whether you'd like a small posy or a pretty bud vase, I'm happy to create something special for your memory table.

Seasonal Flowers - Garden Roses
Garden roses always give a sense of luxury to designs. The multitude of petals, the large flower heads and the delicate scent are all things to covet. The ruffled look and array of colours usually evokes memories of family gardens, trips to stately homes and perhaps for some us, the childhood joy of trying to make our own perfume from fallen petals!
As roses have been cultivated to be stronger and more consistent, the scent has unfortunately been lost in many varieties but garden roses still hold on to their recognisable fragrance giving that extra sensory treat.
Their beauty does come at a price though (at least double if not triple the cost of a standard rose) so unless you have a large budget, garden roses are best used in the bridal party bouquets where they receive the most attention.
Funeral crosses may not be everyone's choice but for those who followed a Christian path, they are a beautiful and elegant option. Choose from massed chrysanthemums with a floral spray or loose mixed flowers.
I love making funeral crosses, with such a clear shape you can add in lots of different flower types, shapes and textures to create a gorgeous tribute.
The sky's the limit on colour choices and we can add in flowers that have sentimental value too.
Let me know if I can create something bespoke for your loved one.
