At James Autos in Wokingham, Berkshire, we are here to ensure your vehicle is in full working order.
We are a small independent MOT and service station, offering all servicing and repairs. We test petrol and diesel cars and vans up to 3000kg, quad bikes, 4-wheel drive vehicles, modified cars, kit cars, and all class 3 vehicles including trikes and reliants. MOTs and services are booked by appointment, but if you need a quote, feel free to pop in and speak to our friendly mechanic Richie.

Morning! We (and many other garages) are very busy right now due to the covid extensions in 2020. If you need an mot or service/repair get in there early!!
That’s the worst tyre we’ve seen in a long time. It certainly reinforces the need for regular checks in our eyes. This tyre looked perfect from the outside.

The positions we find ourselves in to get the job done! 🤣 Cambelt, water pump and inlet manifold on a Saab 9-3 1.9tdi. Not the most elegant of jobs but just in time looking at the chunks off the old belt!!🚙🚘🚙

The things you have to do to get to an alternator these days!! Had a mini in today with a loud noise. Turns out the alternator pulley was seized!
