Today we had our Presidents Day 50th Anniversary event!

So much fun was had by all who participated, prizes have been won and a lovely half way hut made available. As you can see from the pictures we had a lovely little helper for the halfway hut who ran it beautifully and the snacks were enjoyed by everyone.

Hopefully more can join us for our upcoming events, so sign up, become a member and join in the fun.

We accept everyone no matter who you are, where you can from or how terrible your handicap is, join for the fun of the game and meet some new people along the way.

The event today is only one of many they are put on for members every year, food is provided, bacon rolls and coffee beforehand and sometimes a halfway hut if we are lucky enough to get some little helpers keeping spirits high.

MEMBER ANNOUCEMENT!

Royal Acscot 29th April will be rearranged due to severe rain and a carry only policy on the course.

The new date is the 20th May 2024, there are spaces available please get in touch if you would like to go.

Really fun day, good laugh and a good group.

Some nice views and crazy faces today as the members battled it out for first place in our midweek stableford comp, however it came to an end with first place going to Steve Simmons!

Unfortunately it’s been a little bit Marti Pellow (wet, wet, wet) on the course of late so instead of our usual competition on the course, the Inaugural Downshire Trackman event was held this morning instead!!
There were a few trees were hit around Medinah Country Club (Pete took the prize for this) however it was Connor who come out on top with 39 points (although we think playing off the silver tees meant everyone got a few more shots…).

We’re hoping for the course to open again soon but, the guys had a cracking morning playing on the range!

Martin Woodbridge had a hole in one on the par 3 14th in today’s midweek Stableford. Well done Martin!

As soon as we’ve more details on the wind direction, how much moisture was in the air, club selection and most importantly….how much the bar bill was then we’ll update you all! ⛳️ 🏌️‍♂️

Open day at Downshire to celebrate the new install of Trackman.
Awesome practice tool but also a great source of entertainment for everyone.

There will be complimentary balls on the range, free use of the pitch and putt course, group lesson taster sessions at 11am and again at 2pm, complimentary hot drinks and a slice of pizza ;)

For the second year in a row, we’ve retained the trophy for the Matt Carroll scoring 6 1/2 to 5 1/2.

The course was challenging due to the recent downpour and afternoon rain but some great scores between us and Easthampstead GC

Can we make it a treble next year 😉
