WBOS are excited to announce that our production for October 2025 is to be the newly released ‘Take That’ Musical: THE BAND

📆 Wednesday 8th - Saturday 11th October 2025 7.30pm, Saturday Matinee 2.30pm
🎭 Dormston Mill Theatre, Sedgley

An uplifting story of friendship featuring the pop hits of ‘Take That’.

Set in 1992, for 5 teenage girls, ‘The Band’ is everything.
25 years later, they reunite in Prague to see ‘The Band’ once more and to fulfil their dream of actually meeting them!


This is sure to be another thrilling challenge for WBOS - and we cannot wait!

2025 is looking to be a spectacular year and sure will ‘Shine’!!

We’ve ’Said It All’ for now, but please have ‘Patience’ as more information will be released next year, so please, ‘Never Forget’!

WBOS are looking for boys to audition to be our Charlie in our upcoming production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre 26th - 30th March 2025.

Charlie is a sweet, smart, hopeful and loving boy with a wonderful innocence and vulnerability.
Playing age of 10/11 years old.
Must be confident to perform, sing and command the stage alone and alongside fellow cast members.

Key dates have been announced for LES MISÉRABLES 📣

🇫🇷 “LET THE PEOPLE SING” 🇫🇷

We are excited and honoured to have been asked to be one of 11 lead societies invited to produce the UK Amateur Premiere in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Boublil & Schönberg’s legendary musical. BMOS will work in collaboration with West Bromwich Operatic Society, Bilston Operatic Company and Bournville Musical Theatre Company in this region-wide community project.

Fancy treading the boards of The Alexandra stage next summer? The launch event will take place at 7:30pm on 11th September at The Old Rep Theatre Birmingham, workshops will be held throughout September, and auditions will be in October. PLEASE NOTE there are two forms you need to fill in on the website - one for the launch night, and one to apply for auditions.

Information for children’s roles will be released at a later date.

🇫🇷 ✨ UK Amateur Premiere of Les Misérables✨ 🇫🇷

Celebrating Les Misèrables 40th Anniversary, we are thrilled to announce that we will be collaborating with Birmingham's BMOS Musical Theatre Company (Leading), Bilston Operatic Company and Bournville Musical Theatre Company as part of the national “Let The People Sing” project and in association with Cameron Mackintosh Ltd and Music Theatre International - Europe!

We will update you all on more information as it comes in, but to say we are excited is an understatement! We cannot wait!

After such a successful show with Love Never Dies, we wanted as a company to do a special shout out to Scenic Projects!

When we first started looking at this show as an option, there was no set available and we were very much starting from scratch.

We really wanted to say a big thank you to Scenic for the way they engaged, suggested designs, mix and matched circa 4 different sets, as well as making a range of new scenery items for us!

We could not have put on this fabulous show without their dedication and support as well as creative input.

This show was visually stunning and we could not have done it without them!
