MOTIVATION TUESDAY
"Don't watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going." Sam Levenson.
Hey there, champ! π
When it comes to achieving your dreams, don't stress over the ticking clock. Instead, take a cue from it: keep moving forward. Time won't wait, so neither should you! Embrace every moment and give it your all. Keep grinding, keep hustling, and keep believing in yourself.
Remember, the clock doesn't stop for anyone, and neither should you. Your dreams are within reach, but you've got to keep going to grab 'em. So, be relentless, stay focused, and make every second count. Your journey is worth it, and you've got the power to make each second count. ππͺ
MONDAY TALES
Signs and the Voice
Jason and Daniel were caught in the dark embrace of the night, which would not let go. Their flight was driven by desperation. All they wanted was to flee from the evil world that was holding them captive and their ruthless assailants.
The woods extended like a never-ending maze, a warped environment where each tree and shadow appeared to be working against their escape. With each step they took, the rain-slick ground beneath their feet threatened to turn against them, sending them tumbling and skidding into the undergrowth.
A harsh, mocking voice echoed through the shadows as they stumbled forward. It growled, shivering their bones, "You can't flee." "Youβre confined,
We're constantly observing you because you're stuck."
Fear overcame them. Their suffering was something that the voice seemed to take great pleasure in.
Whispering to Daniel, "We have to keep moving," Jason's voice faltered. "We can't let them catch us."
The barriers, however, continued to rise. The trail ahead became more and more perilous, with prickly brushes that bit their clothes and limbs and the wind that pressed against them at every step like a banshee.
They were haunted by symbols appearing more clearly as they descended farther into the forest.
Strange totems loomed menacingly along their path, and trees were adorned with crass carvings. Malevolent markings were etched on rocks. The entrapment seemed to be strengthened by the forest's apparent collusion with them.
With each step, the voice continued to taunt them, never revealing its source. "It is impossible for you to conceal. We'll locate you. Your every move is known to us." The echoes of the voice sent shivers into their spines and caused the forest to tremble.
Daniel's fear grew and he looked at Jason, his eyes wide with fear. "This is not how we should continue. They are all over, and we are lost."
But Jason would not give up.
"We have to find a way out, somewhere safe, and then we'll figure out how to escape this nightmare."
As they kept running, the voice and the menacing symbols pulled them farther into the heart of the foreboding woods. Their assailants were relentless, and the night felt never-ending. The world they had fallen into was a terrifying mystery, and there was no indication that the chase would endβ¦

MONDAY TALES
"Shadows of the Woodsβ
The ancient, run-down cabin in the middle of the woods was hammered by the unrelenting rain. The thick forest that encircled the cottage was illuminated by lightning that sliced across the night sky. The fire within hissed and crackled, throwing spooky shadows throughout the space. Jason was sitting in a ratty armchair, drinking whiskey and tending to his emotional and physical wounds.
It had been three months since the traumatic event that left him damaged and disturbed. An ordinary trip to a distant island had become a nightmare. After his group discovered a long-lost, ancient cult, that unleashed a series of horrors that had followed him for the rest of his life. The cultists had disappeared, leaving behind only bizarre, eerie stories and a trail of enigmatic symbols.
The storm roared with unnerving force that night. The wind rattled the windows and doors with a banshee-like wail. Jason couldn't help but sense his anxiety building. Something evil, something he couldn't quite comprehend, seemed to be lurking in the shadows.
A knock on the door startled him while he was staring into the fire. He almost dropped his drink. No one should be out here in the middle of nowhere, especially since it was past midnight. He hesitantly walked over to the door and cracked it open a little. A disheveled guy was standing on the doorstep as the rain seeped through the entryway.
Gasping for air, the visitor said, "Please, you have to help me." "They're coming for me."
After a brief pause, Jason fully opened the door to let the stranger inside. The new arrival's clothes were sticking to him; he was shivering and soaked. Identifying himself as Daniel, he recounted how, while out on a hike in the woods, he came upon a gathering of people who seemed to be engaged in some sort of ritual.
Daniel stumbled, "They had these symbols all over them."
"I barely made it out. I assure you that they are not human, and they are pursuing me."
Jasonβs heart raced. Daniel was describing symbols that he had seen on the island months earlier, and they matched. The cult. It was too big to be a coincidence. He was aware that he had to treat this threat seriously. Jason looked out the window of the cabin and locked it. Nothing else could be seen, but shadows danced in the storm.
Jason muttered, "We have to keep quiet and low."
"They won't find us here."
With their eyes darting around the poorly lit room, the two men huddled together in silence. The storm did not let up even after several hours. Jason was always plagued by the sensation that they were being observed.
Then came the moment that they both dreaded. The front door of the cabin creaked open and a group of figures in dark, frayed robes emerged. The same unsettling symbols adorned their clothing, and their eyes glowed with an otherworldly intensity. They moved like wraiths in the night, in total silence.
With shallow breaths, Jason and Daniel leaned against the wall. With their eyes darting around the cabin, the cultists came inside. Reaching the fireplace, one of them stared into the flames. Lightning struck the room at that moment, illuminating Jason's terrified face.
The cultist turned to face the other members and gestured toward them. With hands extended toward the trespassers, they pressed closer. It felt like there was no hope left.
But then the silence was broken by an enormous crash, as a tree branch went through the roof and just missed the cultists. Chaos broke out. Jason and Daniel took advantage of the situation and fled, diving into the forest.
Furious cultists were after them. They staggered through the sodden forest as the storm obscured their escape. Rain and thunder poured, reflecting the onslaught of pursuit. It was excruciating but they were determined to escape from their relentless assailants.
