Russians don't always have to always be bold and overly stand out, I often do a lighter set for my clients like Charlotte who prefer a more lightweight, natural look

A "lighter" set is created using the same lash wrap method as a mega volume set however the individual russian fans i'd opt to use would be of a lesser density to avoid the natural lash being damaged by a fan that is too heavy for your natural lash to hold

If booking in with me for russians, just let me know at the beginning of your appointment whether you'd prefer a lighter or mega volume look and I can then assess the suitability of your natural lashes which will determine which density lashes to apply✨

Who are classics most suitable for?

• Classic lashes are best suited to anyone with a full lash line, with minimal gaps or sparsity, this is because no fans or volume lashes are applied to bridge any gaps in the lash line. I would recommend Y lashes or hybrids/russians for anyone looking for a voluminous set or for anyone with sparse lashes (if the lashes are healthy enough for a volume set)

However if you are naturally blessed with thick and full lashes, then classics could be the perfect option for you!

How long do Classic lashes last?

• I advise my clients to book their infills within two weeks of having a full set done. Classic lashes can shed quicker than volume lashes because they are not wrapped around the natural lash like a fan would be however I prime and bond all lash sets pre and post application to boost retention, shout out to for their incredible retention bundle✨

Quality lashes do take time girls which is why I sometimes can take up to 3 hours to create a full set. We have typically between 90-150+ lashes per eye which is why a full set (especially volume) can take so long to complete.

I always warn people to be mindful about how long your tech takes to do your lashes! Whilst some are incredibly talented and don't take very long to complete a set, it is rare that you can achieve full coverage and correct isolation in under 1.5 hours. Correct isolation is key to keeping your lashes healthy and preventing them from getting damaged x
