Today was our lovely Sarah's last day at work before she gets married to her partner Gary on Friday 😊

We wish Sarah and Gary all the best on their special day and all the happiness as Mr & Mrs Emms 😍

Today is our lovely Ella's last shift at nursery for a little while. She is off to Reading University to study Psychology. She will hopefully cover some shifts in the holidays 😊 so you will see her again.

We wish Ella all the best in her next chapter in her life 😊 Here is a little box of essentials for her to take with her 🥰

Today was our lovely Ambers last day at work before she welcomes her new bundle of joy 😊

Not the first time we’ve had the pleasure of meeting The Princess, we met Princess Anne 9 Years ago when she opened the oncology unit 😊

We have had a very exciting morning at Worcester Royal Day Nursery, we have had the special opportunity of witnessing the Princess Royal opening our new A and E department. One of our school leavers presented the princess with a beautiful bunch of flowers 💐 As a nursery we are always grateful to experience these special moments with our wonderful children, and they as always were a credit to us 😊❤️ Look out for more photos throughout the day , we will post them as we receive them 😊

Today marks the start of our preschool children leaving us to go to big school in September. They’ve had a leavers party this week, where the lovely lady from Angies Animal Antics came along with her friends and the children got to meet them. We hope our children had the best time at their party, and wish them all lots of luck at school, we will miss you all so much, goodbye and good luck from Worcester Royal Day Nursery ☘️❤️

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day 🇺🇸 July 4th 😊

As we have been talking about flags a lot recently due to the football we decided to look and paint the American Flag for Independence Day today 😊🇺🇸 We talked about the colours and that flags look different for each country

We have had a lovely morning showing lots of new potential families around our newly refurbished nursery.

Today we have had fun and celebrated with the children becoming Partou.
We have been exploring with paint, whether it be still life paintings of tulips, creating flags or just climbing into the paint and getting messy.
We also enjoyed a lovely picnic in the garden this afternoon

It’s Partou day so we are now officially called Partou Worcester Royal Day Nursery and Pre - School 😀

🌿 Using Spring Petals and Leaves to create marks in the play dough 🌿🌼

The children enjoyed pressing leaves into the dough to show the marks they had created. All Natural resources to create marks were picked from the garden 🌼🌿

Today the children learnt about George and his Dragon. We talked about different flags and countries 😊

The staff even got a little Cake treat too 😁

The wait is almost over!

As we begin to transition into our new brand, we’ll also be changing the name of our nursery page. Don’t worry if this doesn’t happen straight away, we’ll be busy making sure our page gets updated, so we’re all aligned and operating under our brand new Partou nursery name.

During this transition, you may also notice a blend of the old and new name as our support teams work to update our systems. Please bare with us, behind the scenes they’re working their little socks off to ensure the transition to our new nursery name goes smoothly.

These are exciting times for our nursery as we start our journey into becoming Partou and we’re thrilled that you’re with us as we take the first steps on this amazing adventure!

Eid commemorates the end of the holy month of Ramadan, in which Muslims fast daily from dawn until sunset. It is a period for reflection and giving.

We have enjoyed talking about Easter this week and the children are all very excited about spending time with their families 😃

This week at Smiley’s we have been looking/ talking about a poem called The Rainbow 🌈.

The children made their own paint by mixing colours together to create the one’s we needed. We talked about how rainbow’s are formed & some of children shared their stories about them too.
The picture’s we displayed were taken in Worcester & some of the children noticed this as places they had been to feed the ducks & watch the fireworks!
We all then had ago at painting a rainbow of our own & the children did a fantastic job 🌈😀⭐️

This lovely activity has also linked into St Patrick’s day ☘️ one of the children told everyone “If you go to the end of the rainbow there is a pot of gold!” ✨
