Kingsleighs equine education centre….
Do you know who we are and what we do?
We are a Specialist Equine College for Post 16 education.
Our students follow bespoke education plans individually formulated to ensure each young person achieves their full potential. We undertake all learning within small or one to one group settings, with all students getting the individualised attention that they require to flourish.
With training and qualifications for the equine industry alongside English, maths and life skills, we aim to equip our student to attain employment within the equine industry.
Within each students individual plan we can also offer and facilitate equine therapeutic intervention, coaching and mentoring. This is undertaken within our tried and effective system whilst working within a nationally recognised framework.
We don’t just have horses and ponies, we also have a team of therapy dogs on site alongside mini donkeys and mules, chickens and our two quite naughty resident sheep!
Do you have a young person who has an EHCP and wishes to pursue training and qualifications within the equine industry?
Does your young person need a small and individualised approach to their learning?
Does your young person need that extra support with safe friendships and social cue?
We have two spaces available for the 2024/25 academic year and invite applications for these spaces.
In the first instance please with PM the page or, email
[email protected]
We look forward to speaking with and finding out how we can help your young person find and reach their full potential

Parents of all the young people that we are trying to help that keep getting blocked by Worcestershire County council, here is your chance to have your say to those that really can do something about it.
We have received notice that Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be visiting Worcestershire later this month to inspect our arrangements for children with special education needs and disabilities (SEND).
The inspectors want to hear from children and young people, parents and carers, and practitioners about the help and support that children and young people with SEND get.
The surveys are accessible via the following link and will close at 9am on Tuesday 16 April 2024.

WRS international woman’s day…
Those that have visited or have anything to do with WRS will not need telling that we do not need a day to celebrate the ladies on the yard.
We make sure and support those at WRS to own every day. To make every day a day to learn and grow. A day that if mistakes are made, we pick ourselves up and learn from them.
We inspire those ladies to go and get exactly what they want, to reach for their goals and aspirations.
We give those ladies the tools to believe in themselves and that anything is possible, they are only limited my their own imagination.
We make them believe that they will get it in the end…if they don’t, then it’s not the end….
Every day is our day at WRS…

Please if you have answered any of the questions other than no, and you have not spoken to the office, please call Wednesday 2 - 4pm. We are technically not open tomorrow and off site with external clients and will be working with other young people out of these times.
Failure to make contact to discuss your young person, will result in your booking and subsequent bookings being cancelled.
