Riley had a fight with this Audi A7 and won!
It was dropped off with ABS lights and various malfunction lights on the dash! Luckily it was a simple ABS sensor replacement needed. After some choice words and some muscle, Riley managed to get the broken sensor out and replaced! Scroll through to see a triumphant Riley looking chuffed 💪💪

This is Simon from , that look on his face isn’t delight, happiness or excitement! That is pure panic! Simon, like us offers a great service and likes to please! This time he had bitten off more than he could chew! This crafter was sold and due to collection the following day, we just needed to pull out all the stops to get it ready! Timing belt, MOT, front main oil seal, CV boot, oil change, tyres, various diagnostic work and repairs completed - Super Steve and Tommy got their heads down and delivered!! The moral of the story - Don’t be like Simon 😂 we love him really

This customer was feeling a little hot under the collar 🥵☀️ Riley quickly got to work and pressure testing the leaking AC system! He quickly identified a leaking AC condenser and got it swapped for an OE part! Re built, re-gassed and away he went 🥶❄️

This lovely Ford Kuga ST line came in for some much needed rear discs and pads! Quoted, ordered and repaired using OE quality parts and back out on the road 💪

Gorgeous red Audi cabriolet in today! James fitted some well needed brake pads front and rear! Electronic handbrake on this model so required some diagnostics kit in order to wind the pistons back! Now ready for a nice warm weekend with the top down! 🌞

Complaints of intermittent engine management light on one of their work vans. Riley quickly had this tracked down to a faulty inlet flap. He read live data and removed the flap and opened it up to confirm the fault. The flap was full of water and heavily corroded! A new engine item fitted and a road test later and she was ready to go!

Riley’s turn to fix a poorly transporter today!
This lovely blue T5.1 came in for various complaints, faulty parking sensors, knocking suspension and an ABS light. Once in we gave it a cursory glance over and identified a few more common issues and got these rectified whilst on the ramp! Intercooler, driveshaft and front engine mount being just a few!

It’s not just the new and shiney ones we work on!
This lovely T5 2.5 belongs to a long standing customer and visited for a once over before a long trip to the alps!
We found a leaking intercooler, some very cloudy headlamps and a leaking power steering pump among other things! All issues rectified and away it goes across the world! Enjoy

James quickly identified the issue as the auxiliary belt running off the tensioner!

Another few busy days and 2 more lovely Transporters fixed!

First the lovely camper converted VW T5.1 - customer complaint of the clutch pedal sticking down, this was rectified with replacement clutch and flywheel kit and concentric slave cylinder 👍

This Q5 popped in today with a complaint of a nasty noise when braking.
Certainly a good job he did, the customer was in the area from Newcastle and one of the rear caliper carrier bolts had failed out! 😳🤯😱 as a result, the caliper was grinding on the wheel! Luckily this was caught in time, we inspected the recent brake repair work carried out else where and replaced the missing bolts!

Another beautiful T6.1 graced our workshop last week!

This time complaining of adverse tyre wear

We got the van set up on our 4 wheel alignment gear and quickly found out why!

The front alignment was a mile off 😱

We got all the front and rear settings as close within spec as possible and sent away another happy camper!

This lovely looking swamper T5 came in for us to supply and fit a snorkel! Really complimenting the off road look!
Also whilst in we gave her a service, rear brakes and changed the seized and rattling dual mass flywheel! Happy camping Marcus!

Steve fixed more stuff!!

This is becoming a more common fault we are seeing! Headgasket failure, Instead of the usual 1.9 TDI found in the old transporters, this is the later 2.0CR Version

Up until recently we maybe saw one of these every few years, this week alone we have fixed 2!!

Standard procedure, head removed, skimmed and pressure tested and reassembled with the best parts available throughout. Always followed by fresh oil and filter and new fluids!

This one came in for a stainless backbox installation!

This remains in the original position using all OE fixings and the active exhausts flaps remain functional! Not too loud either, just a bit of added bass!

ANOTHER VW T6 with coolant loss and an engine management light!

Standard procedure, front end whipped off!

Replacement inlet manifold supplied and fitted due to heavy carbon buildup causing the runners to jam!

The coolant loss was the usual suspect, a failed EGR cooler.

We don’t guess at these faults, we are VW trained technicians, we carry out the proper checks in order to correctly diagnose and repair your vans!

Rodents in the vehicle🐁

Well this unfortunate VW California had both 🤯

The customer visited with complaints of none of the camping equipment working, this included the fridge! The control panel listed several faults all indicating short circuits!

Our VW California specialist James quickly got to work, after a poke around he quickly found evidence of rodents and then discovered a nibbled wiring loom, this had left exposed wires that had shorted out and subsequently melted and burnt!!

Luckily James was able to access the loom via b the front of the van, this meant the kitchen could remain fitted and loom partially removed to access. He cut out all the damaged harness and replaced it with the correctly coloured and gauge of wiring. He then neatly wrapped it back up using the correct VW insulation tape and reinstalled.

Once we were happy with the repair, we cleared all the the faults and function tested the components! All now functioning correctly throughout 🙏
