Charming Ranunculus 🤍

Such beauty and delicacy in one flower.

Oh, to be like anemone. Carefree, bright and beautiful as they flutter in the breeze, they remind us to relax, be in the moment, breathe.

A gloomy day outside but some beautiful flowers to watch. Every time I make a new flower, it ends up being the favourite. Which makes it a little difficult to choose a flower in particular. These butterfly ranunculus flowers are no exception. Their beauty speaks for themselves.

The winter holidays have passed, and now we are entering the first stage: SPRING. Or at least that's how I'd like it to happen.
Until I got to see the real first peonies this year, I made my own peony. It's good to be a paper artist, isn't it?

03/01/2023

My first post this year. I wish you all a Happy New Year, decorating the year with as many flowers as possible 🤍

The first wedding bouquet I made for a bride dear to me. I had few emotions because she didn't know exactly what she wanted and that's why she let me choose her arrangement and the colors. In fact, the only element in the bouquet that the bride wanted were the peonies. I can say now at the end that it was a great journey but also a challenge and I am happy that she was excited about the final result and that she trusted me. And what a wonderful thing it will be when I will attend her wedding and I will see the bouquet I've created next to a gorgeous bride 🤍

I'm not a fan of roses but I love their fragrance. Every time I walk around and find them near fences or planted in parks I stop to smell them. I think I still have to work on these flowers until I have a result that I'm 100% satisfied with, but I'm fine with these three. I wish you all a beautiful weekend 🤍

It is always a pleasure to make ranunculus flowers. What I find fascinating is that the rotation of the petals is different from one artist to another which leads to various interpretations when it comes to this flower.

I worked this weekend on some clematis flowers to integrate them into the bouquet with the peonies. I am a fan of pastel colors and I admit that the vibrant colors are a little over my hand but these flowers seem to me like a splash of color on a gloomy day.

Some flowers are so majestic and full of life that they are a statement by themselves. Peonies belong to this category, don't you think?
Summer is over and I can't believe that is fall already. But we can't do anything else than to celebrate all seasons.

I also tried a slightly smaller version of tulips. I find these flowers so delicate.

I walked this weekend through the town and analyzed the flowers on my way. I admit that since I discovered the art of paper flowers, I do this quite often 🤍

Good morning everyone. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

I'm so excited about how my first tulips came out. These flowers have such delicate petals and I tried to give the same delicacy to the petals made of paper. With my crepe paper working technique it is a little harder to achieve. Yes I could opt for extra fine paper but I wish that the flowers do not change the shape of the petals on time.

A very important thing as an artist seems to me to know how to work with paints and combine colors because this major aspect totally changes the final result. I have no experience in this field but I try to learn and improve it with each petal.

🌱 Happy Easter 🐣 I hope that wherever you are you have a beautiful Sunday with your loved ones.
🌱 I leave here the last flowers I worked on last week. I try to work every day in the workshop, at least a few hours because my plans for this year is to spend my time outside and enjoy life 🤍

I ended last year with magnolias and during the break I took in December I started looking for solutions for a stronger stem. I found it and I started working on this beautiful flower again coming back to improve my technique even more.

I love magnolia flowers.

When I see the trees blooming with these gorgeous flowers I know that the sleeping nature begins to come back to life 🌿

I look around and I see that most people are in the Christmas spirit. But I just can't believe that next week is December. I don't know why, even now, I still have my thoughts in the summer.

I think the fact that I haven't been on a vacation for 2 years it's affecting my perception of the seasons.

Maybe that's why everything I create and post still has that summer flow 🌿

My ranunculus collection. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do 🌿

To me, flowers are happiness. What about you? What makes you happy?

19/11/2021

This flowers make you stop and stare. I just can't get enough of them🌿

18/11/2021

Lately I've been busy studying and creating ranunculus. By the time I got to the desired shape I think I had around 8 or 9 failed attempts. Being an artist is not always easy, sometimes you feel frustrated but if you have enough patience and continue to persevere, you will get to see your work in all its beauty.

Q: How many petals does a peony have?
A: A lot!
It made me a real pleasure to make these peonies. One of them will be upgraded with a bud. Let's all have a creative week! 🌿🌿🌿

A peony, dahlias and a lot of greenery. Everything fused in pink.
I wish you all a beautiful Sunday 🌿🌿

Photos from The Paper's Tale's post 23/10/2021

My favorite flowers are by far dahlias. I started to know the flowers by creating them and then I started to identify them through people's gardens or in floral arrangements. On my way home is a house where many dahlias have been planted and it is a real pleasure to admire their beauty. Now when I think about it, I feel sorry to never taken any pictures of them. Until their next season I'm going to work on creating my own flowers 🌿🌿🌿

Of all the greens that are in nature I love the branches out of eucalyptus. I chose to make two varieties: seeded eucalyptus and baby blue eucalyptus. My favorite is the silver dollar, tho 🌿🌿🌿
