We're already thinking about autumn and winter, now we're past the longest day, I'm thinking mono-tone leaf outlines in darker colours...🍂🍁

This season I'm on a personal flower mission outside the shop! I've finally uploaded Fleurs Pastel to our full range 🙌 Lime & Chocolate are back in Clergywear stock and we've had to say farewell to our bees print.
We've also hopefully got some heavy white fabric on its way to conceptualise a requested bamboo Alb..

Which do you like? I've found these four I call Sky Blue, Chartreuse, Burgundy and Chocolate Brown.
I'll be deciding on Monday which I order and will be adding them to our ranges in the next month..🙌

New to our clergy collection today, we've been making men's bibs for a while on request and feel it's time to make this style official! 🙌

Happy 2024 to you! We're officially back in the workshop today, we got back yesterday from visiting gefs family in Capetown, it's been 5+yrs since we visited gefs home country last. I decided to off-set our carbon with Ecologi by restoring 50m2 wildflowers, wildlife and wetlands🪻🐦🌊

We hope everyone's enjoying the delights of the winter season. We'll be closing for Christmas orders earlier this year on the 3rd December for Clergywear and the 10th of December for other items. We'll be keeping our website open throughout Christmas but will only be sewing and posting again when we get back on 9th January 2024 for clergywear and 18th January for other items.

If you are looking for off-cut bamboo fabric get in touch as we're very willing to give it away +postage, free to collect, for good causes, like making sanitary towels for Africa, kids projects ect. So please do get it in touch.

Great for arts and crafts, this fabric doesn't really fray so it's very mouldable to many uses. We use our off-cuts for a variety of second life uses. This fabric is heavy in weight 190-260gsm so good for stuffing heavy furniture or punch bags. We tried our hands at weaving into a mat, making reusable make-up wipes, sanitary towels, reusable toilet roll, embroidery applique, gloves, scrunchies. The possibilities are endless. Also good for soaking up liquid.

Fun fact Friday, so my cousin Dan's been researching our family tree 🌳 and he found out that our great great grandfather Herbert James Sparey (1868-1935) had a shop in Presteigne an hour away from our shop today. It's amazing what you find out with a bit of digging isn't it!? (Some of the old shop structure still stands today)
