Wow what a dressing room ! Last weeks install was a joy to do in this beautiful property, with lovely high ceilings to complement the wardrobe design blending in with the period features.

Next commission already underway and probably the longest set of wardrobes yet 8 meters in fact ! Our paint sample swatch is growing well , 400x300mm actual sample of the sprayed paint finish and material used much better than a little card when deciding the most important decision. ( The Colour )

Just added the finishing touches to this luxurious boot room today , finished in farrow & ball wine dark with Finsa lissa oak internals. Satin nickel ironmongery . Alongside our cabinets we completely panelled the room and created a lovely banquet seating area with pull out baskets . I fully designed the room from drawings to the finish coat of paint which is fully sprayed .

Three sets of wardrobes finish in Farrow and ball drop cloth. Finsa 12 twenty’s internals with 22mm finsa hydrofugo sprayed doors and frontals. Blum premium softclose hinges and drawer runners used .

Little insight in to our wardrobe doors . As much as mdf is frowned upon over sold wood unfortunately timber quality is not what it was and regardless how much you pay it will always move and with underfloor heating and all the insulation , these days mdf is the way to go . Our doors are made from Finsa hydrofugo and constructed in a traditional way with 22mm stiles 9mm panels in 10mm grooves. Finsa is not to be confused with standard mdf and once sanded to 240g we spray with two primers and two top coats of enamel furniture paint. We now use solid wood domino’s to substitute mortise and tenon which is equally as strong.
There is a lot of inferior doors constructed using flat board with strips glued on to look like shaker doors these warp and over time and will fail .

Little job finished off today alongside the bigger projects I’ve got on the go , steel framed sliding gate with 25mm sapele boards and capping . Sprayed in jungle green , a big improvement over the old softwood gates.

A few recent little jobs done in between larger projects. Accoya windows / Idigbo window made to match existing / oak cabinet / walnut side tables

Selection of jobs over the last week , been doing some commercial work for long term customer WHC Hire Services.
Welding and fabrication bay constructed from 125x50 structural timber then clad in mag ply fire proof board. Then we have one of there plant trucks for some maintenance, finally a small European oak kitchen worktop extension.

Nice to get out the house and have a play with a bit of oak . Small glue up with the big domino

Luxurious bedroom unit consisting of softclose drawers and dressing table .
Finished in Farrow and ball Hague blue with dimmable warm white lighting all controlled via Bluetooth.

Well it’s not very often I get some thing made for me , and I’ve got to say I’m over the moon with this mallet . And I take my hat off to Jon for the job he’s done thanks mate 👌🏻
