Triumph T160 T 160 1975 2,297 genuine miles, 1 owner, handbook, tool kit, BEST T160 in the world! For sale on eBay, but be quick! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/326226499546?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=2o5vDSS0Sd2&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=2o5vDSS0Sd2&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Fresh in from Canada, a one owner, March 1975 Triumph T160 with matching numbers, original handbook and toolkit. This bike is totally untouched, we haven't detailed it or done anything, it's still on the original factory TT100s. The T160 is probably the best motorcycle ever to wear the Triumph badge. Conceived by NVT, designed at Umberslade Hall and built at the old BSA factory in Small Heath, Birmingham. Improvements over the T150 it replaced was firstly a left hand gear chant set up. This was need as all motorcycles for the US market had to be left hand gear change from January 1975. The cylinders were lent forward like the BSA Rocket 3 (but by another 3 degrees) not to allow room for the starter motor, but a bigger airbox to meet the ever stringent US EPA noise limits. Annular Discharge silencers were also fitted for the same purpose. One of the things Umberslade Hall worked on was the handling, this was improved greatly over the T150 by shortening the fork stanchions and increasing the length of the swinging arm. The triple now handled well. Other major upgrades were the rear disc brake, electric start, and a neutral warning light, and for some reason, a chrome side stand! The clocks and mounting were also a great improvement over previous models. All in all a fabulous bike, some say a bit too late. Only around 7,000 T160s were made, so a rare bike indeed. We have a one owner T160 of out own with 2,000 miles on it. But we have to do a little bit of work to it to get it to this standard, this one has never been touched, it like going back to 1975! These don't come up in the condition, if you want the best T160 anywhere int he world, now is your chance. Comes registered in your name on an age related plate, fully serviced and ready to go!

This was BSA’s answer to the complaints from US A65 riders that their bikes wondered to the left, in other words to centre of the road. BSA’s answer was to tilt the front wheel on all A65 bikes from 69 and 70!

Featured Bike:

Fresh into stock, an October 1972 Triumph X75 Hurricane with matching numbers. Mileage of just 10,807 is believed genuine. One of just 1171 Hurricanes produced. It left the factory on the 6th October 1972 and dispatched to the Triumph Corporation in Duarte, California on the 5th December 1972. It’s new owner was in Florida where it spent all it’s life, before being exported to the UK and being UK registered in August 2009. It’s has only had one UK owner. The bike is untouched and as it left the factory, everything apart from tyres are factory original. Runs and rides superbly, no rattles or smoke. The most collectable British bike in modern terms, and the best looking! Be quick, this one is sensibly priced and we don’t imagine it will be here long.

Comes with copy of the US Title, V5C, and Triumph Owners Club dispatch records.
