🔴⚫️ WEHoRR 2024 ⚫️🔴
After a less than ideal build up with our river seemingly continuously flooded over the winter, our senior women had a solid row at WEHoRR the other weekend. Best of luck to our crews at HoRR and Vesta Masters HoRR this weekend!
✨Annual Dinner 2023✨
For this year’s annual dinner we were incredibly lucky to have our fellow member and World and Paralympic Champion Giedre Rakauskaite MBE join us as the guest speaker. It was great to hear her story and get the chance to ask for some cheeky tips on race prep!
We also honoured the massive achievement of our women’s coxless four and their coach on winning the Lester trophy at Henley Women’s this year, by presenting them with club blazers. As highlighted by our club captain, this was the culmination of a phenomenal run of consistent results at a high level from our senior women’s squad, of which we are extremely proud.
Of course we also presented the infamous S*** Shovel award, awarded to another women’s 4- for a somewhat newsworthy rescue incident!
A big thank you to our fabulous Social Secretary Jackie and all helpers for organising yet another wonderful event. And Little Al's Kitchen of course for catering!
And we’re back on the water! Thanks to everyone for their help with the clear up the last couple of days and this morning, a great club effort 💪🧽🪣
Thanks to everyone who came to our Small Boats Head! Here is a link to the results, sorry for the delay in posting! It will also be made available on the website.

⛰️ Malvern Hills Charity Challenge ⛰️
On the 15th of April our current and past members; Joanna Morgan, Amy Roscoe and Hannah Robinson, along with a group of mums, babies in slings, family and friends will take on the Malvern Hills challenge!
The hike which is 425mtrs at it’s highest point and 9.3miles long, with 18 babies in tow will take all day to complete!
The group have been raising money for the amazing charity Tommy’s which helps research the causes and prevention of pregnancy complications, miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.
1 in 4 pregnancies ends in loss and unfortunately some of our mums fall into this statistic which makes what we’re doing extra special.
If anyone reading this wants to join us or could spare a couple of pounds and sponsor us, we’d be over the moon!
https://www.justgiving.com/Malvernhillschallenge1
We are also asking local businesses to donate towards our finishing bags so if anyone would like to help us with this then we’d be so grateful!
Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who came to our festive head race the other weekend! Great to host our fellow Worcester based clubs RGS, Kings and Uni of Birmingham. 🔴⚫️ Vet Fours Head 2022 ⚫️🔴
Also well done to our Vet C men’s coxless four who raced at Vet Fours Head last Sunday. Especially Jim and Phil for battling the Tideway twice in one weekend! Great work guys 👏👏
🔴⚫️ Fours Head 2022 ⚫️🔴
Some good and very fast conditions on the Tideway on Saturday, with 10 of the 12 course records broken. We’re very proud of all the performances from all of our crews; some steering for the first time on the Tideway, a last minute medical substitution, the W Club 4+ coming second and the men making up some serious ground after starting second and third last of the pack. It is not just about the athletes racing on the day, but all the squad members training alongside, coaches and supporters who get them there. Well done all 👏
