Today I spent a few hours with .hotel by for their Tuscan themed soirée in the sunshine! This is a beautiful place, my favourite room for interior design inspiration has to be ‘The Nuns Powder Room’ ☀️

Here it is! My top 3 favourites from the today! showing a stunning range of handles, curtain and handrails to name a few! produce handcrafted ceramics that are truly unique and will add texture and the wow factor in any space! And luxurious kitchens alongside with the most beautiful worktop I’ve seen (I’ll be getting some samples soon)

This morning I ventured out to an networking session. Whilst I have attended and hosted many networking events in the past, this time was different….. This time I was there as simply me, representing my very own business! I met some awesome women who are at different stages of entrepreneurship and knowing that they’re around locally is bloomin great! 😊

And it’s official! I completed and passed my Level 2&3 Diploma in Professional Interior Design in just 14 weeks & now I have my certificates! National Design Academy (NDA)

Gaining this qualification has given me the technical knowledge and skills I need to turn a passion into a career! My tutor marked over 90% of my assignments as excellent - I am so bloomin’ proud!

In my mid forties (I know, where did the years go 😆) taking a leap like this very occasionally feels nerve-wracking but mostly I am full of motivation, focus and drive.

Top tip; my master bedroom is north facing, these rooms get very little natural light, so I embraced the darkness with Velvet Teal matt emulsion, then added a bright picture wall in the wall facing my bed. I get to go to sleep in a comforting dark space and wake up to these vibrant, energising art pieces every day!

I have had a passion for interiors for many years, have designed my own homes (including a doer upper solo) helped friends and family and working on interiors for shops, visitor spaces and museums.

My goals are to create amazing spaces you want to spend time in, make interior design more accessible and help you get the feelings you need from the spaces you spend your time in.

Over the coming weeks I’ll share some of my projects, tell you a bit more about myself and look forward to launching some packages for you to take a look at!
