So I’ve been a bit quiet on here for quite some months.... I got somewhat waylaid creating my wedding dress and all the bits and bobs that go with it getting married 👰‍♀️ 🥰 🤵‍♂️ # # #

So I’ve been a bit quiet doing my usual paint brush
Creative work for a while as I was busy doing some “other” creative creating ....... my wedding dress 👗 and all the other bits and bobs required to marry Mr Ray Walker.

I’ve had some time to myself for a few weeks, so I immersed myself in redecorating the bathroom and kitchen,I needed some time to be creative again and here are the results, with nothing more than a few tins of paint some sandpaper and 2 rolls of wallpaper ... and a little creative imagination 👍😊 🎨 🖌

I recently gave this Lovely little room a transformation into a cosy special space for an adorable little lady and her mummy to relax and enjoy cuddles and kisses together ... the Rocking chair was Tor’s grannies who she recently lost. It now means she can rock baby Bridget to sleep in Great grandma’s chair ..... 🥰🥰🥰 I was feeling the love when I peeked in the nursery and saw them sat rocking together... worth every second to just see that # # #

Bought this little table with wobbly legs, feeling very sorry for its self ... gave it a little make over and voila it’s looking a lot happier 🥰👍.

So my lovely little table has a new home, sitting pretty at the top of a stair way. Looks like she was made specially for you Jules 🥰 # # #

All finished and ready to go .... after removing about 20 coats of paint to reveal the beautiful oak woodwork, and finding ( because they too had 20 coats of paint hiding them ) the beautiful pewter hinges and doorknobs, then cleaning and polishing them back to life this unit is once again beautiful 🥰

Wall papering with tissue paper !!!! ( proper name : decoupage ) now there’s a challenge 🤨🤨🤨 ... fab to create that old fashioned shabby chic look mind 👍👍👍.

On with a little project at the moment and I’m delighted with how the hinges have turned out ...( before and after pics 👍😜 ) I haven’t actually got a picture of them when they were on my piece, caked in paint and I couldn’t even find the screw heads to get them out !!!!!! ..... but here they are after they have been cleaned, polished and aged ... 🥰 allllll part of the process 👍😊

Matching makeover for clients late mums footstool... lots of sentiment value with this one so I lined the bottom with the original fabric 🥰

Ring top curtains made to match a recently re upholstered head board .. as with everything in my little workshop they were made with a little thing called LOVE .... 😌🥰
