Stanway Viaduct...

The work at Stanway is still going strong. Here after the works have taken place on the bridge deck the track is being reinstated.

A drainage project is under way at Harvington C of E First and Nursery. The school has suffered with severe storm water flooding exacerbated by the schools defective/blocked stormwater drainage system. PR Associates have had the pleasure of working alongside Greenwoods and Walsh Construction Ltd to help put together the most suitable solution to resolve this problem. The school storm water drainage has been upgraded to include a substantial GeoCellular Storage Tank having a capacity just over 300m3, in addition, extensive excavations to accommodate the new stormwater drainage to the main highway of approximately 300m.

This week we have started improvement works at Kidderminster Town Hall.

Kempsey Eco Business Park We offer a mixture of office, retail and light industrial units on the 2.5 acre park. A farm shop will help meet the needs of local people

We are starting work on Norton Cricket Club, literally the other side of a site we are currently working on and up the road from our Head Office.

Walsh - Christmas Tree collecting comes round each year so quickly!! 🌲

We are on site working with GWSR at Stanway Viaduct in Gloucestershire. Yesterday, using a 42m pump we executed the first of many concrete pours to improve and repair the viaduct. Thankyou to Camfaud Concrete Pumps Ltd who supplied the pump, CEMEX who supplied the concrete and to our skilled Walsh teams who worked super hard for a successful day.

Work at Cambray Court in Cheltenham is nearing completion. Well done to everyone who has been involved with this site!! The garages are coming along and the residents are happy!

Thanks to everyone who attended our annual training days last week - they were a success!!

Following significant civil engineering works the River Isbourne now flows freely beneath the high railway embankment!!

The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway (GWSR) has awarded the first contract phase to Walsh Construction Ltd, for repair of the 120-year-old Stanway Viaduct, which carries the railway over a valley north of Toddington station.

Contracts for the work were signed by the GWSR’s Dr. Graham Plant, Civil Engineering Director and Richard Winstanley, Finance Director; and from Walsh Construction, James Evitts, Construction Director and Jon Bird, Managing Director, during a brief ceremony at Winchcombe station, on Thursday 12th October.

On Friday the office ladies visited a wash plant in Hereford.
It was very interesting!!!

Installation at a pace with the attenuation system at Harvington CofE School in Evesham - all our best work is buried!!

Work at Cambray Court in Cheltenham are making significant progress. The engineered retaining wall is now complete and we will now focus on the drainage works along with the preparation of the concrete slabs works, prior to the reconstruction of the garage blocks scheduled to start in October.

Kempsey Business Park is beginning to shape up nicely. Earlier this week and several wagons of tarmac later we now have the main road through the business park looking smart and tidy.
