Shahan Monsur enjoyed a wonderful time with friends from the LGBTQ+ community at Club Kali last night. The Home Office is required to fulfill its international obligations and provide him with refugee status.

🚨BREAKING: The International Court of Justice has concluded that Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories is illegal and violates the prohibition on racial segregation and apartheid.

This is a historic vindication of Palestinians’ rights.

States, including the UK, must take action to end the illegal occupation and help dismantle Israel’s system of apartheid immediately.

Scrapping the Rwanda scheme is a triumph for human dignity, compassion, and justice. No country as repressive as Rwanda can be considered safe. And no country should farm out its responsibilities to genuine asylum claimants to a third country.

The Rwanda policy was inhumane. From our work supporting humanist asylum seekers, persecuted because of their beliefs, we know the extreme difficulties faced by refugees in the UK. We look forward to working with the Government and other partners to extend human rights protections to those in need.
