If anyone has an appointment the next
Few weeks with tyffen or jade can they please call the salon. I’m there from around 10am this morning. Or in rest of week.
Tyff has decided to go back to France for health reasons and wanting support of her family and jade left yesterday on her new venture. We wish them both all the luck in the world going forward and they will both be sooo missed.
Also myself and Kim have decided that we may start Bizzy’s a little earlier as we are a little ahead of schedule and also we can get serene sorted and cleared on time.

Hi everyone.. hope you are all having a lovely weekend!
It’s been brought to my attention by a few people now that there’s a rumour going around that myself and Kim are only welcoming only our own personal clients to come to “Bizzy’s”
For clarity we are welcoming all clients of serene and new clients to support us on our new venture. We are not going to leave clients in the lurch stressing over where to go for there hair.
The new salon is 8 mins from serene. We have carparking (currently being done) we would love to see you all there.
Just wanted to clear this up! Anyone that knows myself and kim will know we would never say this.
There are leaflets on the desk with directions my number for the new salon and we are taking bookings
(Yes the diary is open)
So we will see you there!!! I will post updates on the Bizzy’s hair studio page too. Give us a lil like and share on there!!!

UPDATE!!!
Hi all, We now have an update on when we close 😞
Our last day at serene will be Friday 1st March. As we have to empty premises by 6th so that gives us time to get everything done.
Myself and Kim will be at Bizzy’s week commencing Monday 5th.

Unfortunately it looks unlikely serene will stay as a hair salon (still unsure) but myself and Kim would not leave anyone in the lurch and we welcome all clients to follow us. You have supported my business for many years…. And that I will be forever grateful for. So if you want to come along you are welcome…

We have been disappointed that we have had many time wasters that wanted serene and it’s been known to me that a couple have gone to landlords and cut us out as too not buy a business I did build I was happy to leave everything in there too. I don’t like this as this is underhanded. So now we have to empty everything and I will be selling stock furniture etc….
Again I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for supporting me through some very difficult times in my life!
You have all never been clients you are all so much more!!!!
So if you have an appointment in March with myself or Kim see you at my new salon. If you would like to make an appointment we are taking appointments now for new salon.

Also jade leaves us 6th feb, Jade has been a valued member of staff. She is staying to help me out for a bit. She’s not hairdressing, but it’s something she can go back to. She’s also going to to be a client at Bizzy’s so it’s never goodbye.

Tyffen’s personal circumstances have changed and she’s going back to France to be with her family. She too, is a valued member of staff who we will be greatly missed but we will keep in touch.

Not forgetting Mike and Mark! Mike has been with us 16 years and he’s part of the furniture. So wish him all the best going forward. Will keep you updated on where Mike will carry on with his chiropody.
Mark, is also a valued member who makes us look younger (and crikey I need that at the moment) so will also keep you updated on marks whereabouts. He’s truly amazing at what he does…

But we are around for few weeks yet. We look forward to seeing you all before we leave/ and at the new salon of course.

Popular hairdresser bids farewell to Warndon to build own salon in memory of dad The owner of Serene Hair and Beauty is saying goodbye as she leaves to build her own salon from the ground up.

Hi everyone,

I have some news I wanted to share with you all.

I’m writing this with mixed emotions of both sadness and joy!

From the begining of feb I will be leaving Serene Hair & Beauty. We opened in a recession and survived 3 lockdowns in covid and lived to tell the tale. Of which I’m extremely proud of. Not saying it was easy but we made it which I’m grateful for all your support through a tough year or 2.

I would also like to thank all the team past & present for all their hard work too and of course my amazing clients as without you none of it would have been possible! You will never know what your support has meant to me.
A shout out to Mike our chiropodist who has been with us since we opened and mark (who does aesthetics ) I hope they can carry on at the salon as they would like to.

So, what’s next for Lisa I hear you say...

Well... I will still be working with my work colleague and best friend Kim as we have worked together for nearlly all of Kim’s hairdressing career and a lot of mine So I couldn’t really leave her behind. She has been beside me through thick and thin, the rough, smooth and bits in between. She also knows where I live… 😜 we have a great working relationship…. So it was never an option to not have her by my side. I don’t think I would’ve got through the last 15.5 years without her.

And...

I have a brand new project Ive been working on!

Ive been creating a new and unique hair salon within my garden bespoke to me. It’s been built and we are starting to furnish so we are ready in feb. It’s been extremely stressful As we have had planning nightmares along the way.
It’s going to be called “Bizzy’s hair studio”this is a nickname of all our family and is also the nickname of my dad who sadly is no longer with us so in his memory it was easy to pick this name…..

I will be creating a brand new page & Instagram account so you can follow my Renovation project. So you will see the build and everything… very exciting…. So please give me a like and a follow as you have done all these years.

I’m extremely excited for the future now and it’s been a very hard decision to make, but for those who know me well will know I’ve always talked about getting
a salon space at home and now my little dream is coming true!

Some of you may think I’m crazy but hey that’s ok... It’s been a crazy time with Covid and with that being said I had to make some changes too which will ultimately benefit my family, myself and my clients. And friends….

Once the new socials are created I’ll let you know the details, it would be amazing if you wanted to come on the journey with me.

From now until 8 th feb I will still be taking appointments at the salon. And have the new book for the new salon. Which is only 10 mins from serene.
You may even see us doing a day at serene helping.

I’m also extremely grateful to my husband who has always been my rock and supported me in everything I do. He’s a very patient man 😹
He’s the one who silently works in the background doing all the books, paperwork and all the hard stuff.so big shout out to him. Without his support there wouldn’t have been serene… and not sure there would have been the new salon. As there has been and will be so much work to do….

Thank you all once again for your support and I can’t wait to share the next parts of my journey with you all. 💖

The salon is for sale and would be a great investment. A 5 year lease is available and it’s a great business. All furnishings can be left so you can just walk in and start work. So if anyone is interested message me, and who knows you may still see me in salon maybe helping out for bit.
