The most stunning open plan kitchen and dining room 🥰 Finished with this lovely Alderton in Denim.
This New England style fabric dressed these beautiful sash windows and doors. Some were working roman blinds and others dress blinds, this shows you can mix the two options. In the kitchen a semi sheer motorised roller blind was placed behind a dress roman blind. A simple touch of a button and your blind goes up and down with ease. This is an ideal solution for blinds behind sinks where maybe you have a deep worktop and window sill.

I am loving this delicate, printed fabric from . I was so pleased with the results.
This fabric was used to make a motorised, blackout lined and interlined cascading roman blind.
At a press of a button, your roman blind cascades down. No need for chains and it’s a rechargeable motor so it’s a no hassle installation! Matching piped feather cushion.

This handsewn, interlined and blackout lined roman blind is off to its new home. The texture and weight of this fabric is amazing.

This is a recent installation of a beautiful linen voile, hung from a discreet wave track. The track is cleverly fitted into a small recess in the ceiling, so all the focus is on the curtain and the soft light it creates. This amazing fabric is on my table today. I have been desperate to work with this for a while. This is to be made into a Roman blind for a bedroom. I’ll post some pics of the finished result.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything as it’s been very busy here. I’ve moved Avenue Furnishings into a home studio 🏡 🧵 🪡
After 5 years working alongside the lovely people at Premier Flooring I’ve decided it was time for a change. Hoping to increase the time I have to sew and reduce the time sat in the 🚙 This is the next step for my business, now entering its 9th year!! 🎉🎉🎉 Thanks to all my amazing customers who have made this possible. The same options are available, I can come to visit you at home or feel free to arrange an appointment at the studio and look through piles of fabric books with a ☕️ My dog Bronte was helping us set up and he’s loving having me at home more.
