Pash returned to a customer that he had built the below wardrobes for 30 Years Ago!!

He cladded inside the wardrobe with bathroom cladding to give a nice clean feel and to prevent them from ever needing painting again.

He was pleased to see his wardrobes were still in excellent condition and the doors still closed lovely.

You dont get flat packed furniture standing the test of time like that 😉

Just to update anyone considering us for future work, we now only have around 3 days in December left for booking in work this year.

Other than any existing quotes booked in, we wont be quoting for kitchens or bathrooms now until August ready to start next years diary.

A return visit to one of our bathroom refurb customers from earlier this year to fit 3 more doors to match the bathroom one.

We fitted these oak cottage style doors, one being altered to a half size door for the customers personal needs.

This was cut down and an oak strip applied to the top finishing edge.

New kitchen sink & tap for a long standing customer today, and a pretty involved repair on a toilet within a unit for one of our very first customers back from when we first started up a few years ago.

We don't just do big jobs, we help wherever we can, and to work for the same people says to us, that we are doing "ok" ❤️

We appreciate and value each and every one of our customers 😊

We had a small job for our lovely returning customer
They were struggling with their shower, it had developed a fault so it had become unuseable.

This is an example of why we choose to fit exposed thermostatic showers instead of concealed thermostatic showers here at Pash Property Care Joinery & Plumbing

Our custoners tiles had to be removed to investigate as we didnt know where the pipework ran, whereas with an exposed valve shower, we could have just swapped it over for a new one.

To make the job faster and more cost effective, our customer chose gloss white bathroom cladding and had the 2 whole walls done, along with a new Mira dual head rainfall shower.

This bathroom has turned out to be one of our absolute favourites.

Our returning customer let us lead and advise on wall cladding etc and was open to suggestions whilst having some fab ideas of their own.
It has truly been a pleasure from start to finish.

We love the green sage abstract cladding with the sage green vanity unit, it made for a nice contrast with the metro brick and grey LVT Flooring.

We removed the bath and replaced with a slip resistant shower tray and grab rail and fitted a "comfort height" close coupled toilet, both of which will make using the bathroom a little easier for our customer.

Matching floor cupboard, anthracite towel radiator and LED mirror to complete.

Hope you all had a fantastic extra long weekend?
The weather wasn't too unkind after all.

This is just an info post...

Yet again, lve just had a conversation with someone on the phone, that asked what our starting price is for a bathroom.

Now this is a hard one, because bathrooms are different sizes for a start and fixtures and fittings vary.

I was asked if we "price match" the companies that advertise on Facebook, the ones that state " bathrooms supplied and fitted from only £3500 "... The really easy answer to this particular question was "NO"!

Why don't we? Well for a start, an average 2m x 2m bathroom costs us nearly that amount alone for the fixtures and fittings!!

It doesn't take alot to work out , that if a company is going to supply and fit you a bathroom for £3500, then there's going to be a compramise on either quality of fixtures and fittings or quality of work, or sometimes , BOTH!!

If youd like 5mm wall cladding, unbranded fittings and a rush job with a poor finish, please don't come to us for a quote.

We want your bathroom to last you YEARS and we want you to be proud of the finish, we certainly don't want you having to have another one fitted in a couple of years...

As always, we are always here for advice, and although we only do Plumbing and Joinery ourselves, we work alongside every other trade (other than a roofer), so we take on larger projects too or can give you contact details of those other trades even if you don't need us 🙂

YOU ARE ALL BLOODY BRILLIANT ❤️

Our customer asked us to investigate soft floor directly inside the front door.
We removed the laminate flooring and found an old mat well.
We strengthened the floor joists, topped with 18mm structural ply and finished by fitting new LVT plank flooring to the whole hallway.

Our second job over the last week for this particular customer, the partial Kitchen refurb being the first job.

They needed to think ahead and make their bathroom more user friendly for the years ahead, but didn't want the expense of a full bathroom refurb.

So we removed the bath, provided a new exit through the exterior wall for drainage and put an anti slip shower tray, thermostatic dual head rainfall shower, shower screen with flipper and finished off with cladding to refresh and modernise and make life easier for them both.

You don't need to spend thousands of pounds if you are struggling to get in and out of the bath, this is a cheaper and much quicker solution than having a full bathroom.

As our regular page followers know, we are always transparent with where our diary is at, we often post whether or not we are taking quotes on at the moment, and we are regularly saying, get booked in as we are always around 4/5 months ahead...

Please, if you kindly phone us to give us the opportunity to quote for you, and you are told that our diary is booked up to a certain date, dont get nasty, and certainly don't slam the phone down when one of us is mid-sentance because we can't fit you a
kitchen within the next few weeks!!

As in all aspect of life, treat people with the respect you expect for yourself ( or you will find your number blocked like the " lady " who has just done exactly that 😆🤦‍♀️ )

We HATE turning people away, but with some ( luckily very rarely) l can't help thinking we had a lucky escape lol

As an update, we have:

29 DAYS LEFT IN 2024 to book in.
BUT, we have 2 largish quotes booked in over the next week...

We replaced worktops, upstands, splashback, sink/tap, hob and oven.
Window sill lifted and new window board fitted.

Bespoke floor cupboard manufactured to utilise an awkward space that a shop bought unit wouldn't fit, routered design to key in with existing cupboard doors.

Just a little update on one of our pieces of bespoke Joinery that Pash made a few weeks ago.

We produced a bespoke cd rack for a returning customer, and asked if we could recommend a traditional painter and decorator to finish it for her.

We only have 1 more slot left for a large job in December, we have a quote booked in for this, and a waiting list of other customers wanting bathroom quotes should this quote not be accepted..

Our lovely customer returned to us for a third time asking us to produce a floor to ceiling bespoke cd rack.

All good in theory, until it came to transporting it to their home ( oops, we hadnt thought that far ahead lol )

An S.O.S call to our son for a hand sorted us out ( cheers mini Pash ❤️)

Here are photos of a little project we were asked to do for a local school ( photos received and permission to post from Mum granted)

After enquiring with a website that builds balance equipment for nursery/primary age children, they were quoted a silly amount for what they wanted, plus it would be delivered " flat packed " and would have to be built onsite.

We were thrilled to be asked to be involved with something that the little ones would benefit from and at a third of the price they were quoted, plus we delivered to site fully constructed.

We hope the children get many years of enjoyment from them.

New Canterbury Oak doors fitted to our customers bedrooms to match the downstairs ones we fitted last year.
Their bathroom doorway is smaller than average, so we manufactured a thinner and shorter sliding door to match the patterm on the bedroom doors 🙂

Well that's us all done until Monday 29th April.

Well, l don't know what's going on today, but we've received yet another review!!
We are blown away by all the kind words, it makes us proud to know we are "doing ok" ❤️❤️😊❤️❤️

Well what can we say about our latest bathroom 🤣...

Our lovely returning customers had obviously had a run in with " Bodge it and Scarper " because their previous "Plumber" ( and we are being very generous here..) had made a complete and utter mess with their pipework, in every direction possible.

Unfortunately for us, when we attend to do an estimate, we dont have xray vision, so it wasnt until we started onsite, that it became apparent that this was going to be a bigger job than anticipated...

This busy family was so very patient with us taking over their only bathroom, but at least now they can rest assured that their plumbing is in order and working exactly as it should be.

We are pretty pleased with how this one turned out, and the customers are over the moon with it too.

We also manufactured a bespoke sliding bathroom door, to tie in with the design of the oak doors we fitted to the bedrooms ❤️
