Excellent research study and excellent evidence based practice which was provided by health care professionals, here in the UK. The HCP who took part in the study were under the insurmountable pressure working for the NHS in these unprecedented times. The modality being researched in the UK trials was Reiki Distance Healing, an incredible therapy that is finally being recognised!

The abstract of our UK distance Reiki study is now published in Global Advances in Health and Medicine! It was presented this month at the Symposium for Integrative Medicine and Health.

Frontline healthcare workers (nurses, doctors, paramedics) in the UK impacted by the pandemic received 4 distance Reiki sessions on consecutive days. Following the Reiki, healthcare workers showed statistically significant improvements in stress, anxiety, pain, sleep, and wellbeing with medium to high effect sizes. They reported being more resilient, calm, and had symptom relief.
We are moving forward with more Reiki programming and research.
