We are very excited to recieve this georgeous 60's RETRO style kitchen cabinet into our workshop!! 🧐🤔

We will look at it for a while and see what inspiration happens! 😍

We love a freebie! This pine settle was donated by a repeat customer! How lucky are we! Thought we'd keep up with our water decal skills. . . 🥰

We had been putting off a re-paint for ages now. . . 🧐🥹
But we finally bit the bullet!
Not sure that the world was ready for the Red/Black Goth design!😵‍

We lightened the unit and it's looking better than ever, looking very country cottage and homely.

It's in it's forever home, to our lovely client, Claire. Who also happens to be my neighbour! Good job really because the delivery charge for this monster would cost a pretty penny!

What did we learn?? Consider whether the design is what the market wants 🤣

We painted this drinks cabinet a loooooooong time ago, we knew that it was a bit 'Out there,' in design terms. We knew It would take a certain someone to love it as much as we did.

Well, yesterday it sold and now is in it's forever home in the villiage next to ours! The lovely Holly even has a candy pink and white striped sofa to match!

I'm so glad that we didn't fill the urge to re-paint it. 🥰
and Holly has an original conversation starter that she will enjoy for years to come.

Our latest commission arrived it bits, with no assembly instructions, with only a picture as reference. 🤔

It turned out to be a 1970's 'Nonna' rocking chair, by Paul Tuttle, popular in the 1970's.

Following a little head scratching, we worked out the puzzle of assembly!! Along with a little TLC to the leather and wooden arm rests, this little beauty has been brought back to life! We LOVE IT 😍

It's a pity that we have to give it back to our lovely client,
Andrew. 🥹 Who's yet to collect, but has seen the photo.
His response; 'Wow, Caroline, amazing! Thank you so much.'

When my lovely client, Marilyn contacted us to revive her mini-bureau, it came with a lovely back story of how her late Father gave it to her as a child and that she didn't want to get rid of it, but would like it updated.

So, we were honoured with the task, I love the end product, it looks a whole lot different to say the least!

This bistro patio set had been a little neglected over the decade that my neighbour had it and they didn't want it to be discarded as it cost a lot of money, originally.

So, we stripped it back to the bare metal and re-painted it! It's now looking as good as new! Just in time for the arrival of the Sun. 🌞

We are back in the workshop! 🥳

We have had a lovely break and feel energised, refreshed and ready to pick up our paintbrush again! 😍 Although, we love our job so much, we restored a chest of draws, for our own bedroom! 🥰 (Yes, we have lost a k**b; are currently still looking for it in the workshop.)

This chest of draws was donated by a lovely lady; Katie, who was moving house and donated a whole bedroom set, as it was going to the tip, we couldn't resist. Thank-you katie! 🤝

Back to the workshop! We think a small job will surfice today, to ease us back into work! 🤣
