Just a quick update my diary is now OPEN and filling fast 🫶🏼

I’ll be returning to work Mondays and Fridays from the 29th jan, if you’d like an appointment please message me as soon as you can to avoid disappointment as I’m working two days to start with these include late nights for the clients who need after work ✨

Unfortunately i will be taking early maternity leave with immediate effect, as you all know this isn't something i've wanted to do and i've tried so hard to keep going at work, but due to recent events and the loss of my gorgeous girl pops my health has taken a turn and from doctors orders im now winding down and resting as baby girl maybe coming as early as next week!

With me not going to term and having her early i am hoping to get back in the salon for a few days before Christmas, i know you'll all call me crazy and tell me off but i want to make sure you all look fabulous for Christmas. The girls at the salon are being amazing and are doing everything they can to accommodate as many people as they can however i know they won't be able to get everyone in. Once i've had the baby i'll send an email round to announce what days i'll be back in the salon in december (all goes to plan) if you'd like to wait and be added to a list then please contact me asap and i'll add you to that list.

I feel awful cancelling people and you know this isn't a decision i've taken lightly but turns out debs can be quite scary when she wants to be and has told me off for not looking after myself and putting myself and baby girl first.

I appreciate you all so much and so many of you have been with me for years now and i think that is why i feel so awful cancelling and finishing early, but i promise i'll be back soon you managed through covid so i'm hoping you'll stick by me now and i'll see you all very soon.

I will be contacting you all individually regarding your appointment this may take me awhile as i didnt realise just how many i'd squeezed in on my last week so please bare with me.

WEAVE CLIENTS - if you're booked in with me for your weave to be tightened then this will still be going ahead however this may be on a different day & time as i can sit down and do these and they are shorter appointments, plus im the only one in the salon that offers extensions, i don't want your stretching your maint and causing any damage to your own hair. PLEASE NOTE i will be able to do hair extension maintenance only and not colours if you'd like the girls to see if they can get you in for your colour to tide you over in november then please send me a message and ill try my very best to get you in with them.

I'm really hoping this makes sense and i'm not just babbling on, thank you all for your supportive messages over our sad news with poppy last week. We are all truly heartbroken and i can't put into words how much i miss my girl she will always be with us and i'm so gutted she never got to meet the new addition that she gave so many cuddles to over the past 8 months.

Hey everyone just a quick message regarding appointments in the lead up to me finishing for my mat leave on the 10th nov 🤍

This last few weeks I’ve been really struggling with my back especially later on in the day/evening and I’ve finally listened to you all and I admit I’ve over stretched myself to get you all in before I finish

This week I’ve been in Bassetlaw twice with raised blood pressure, suspected pre eclampsia and a water infection. Im fine in myself and I am back at work but it’s put things into perspective that I need to slow down and listen to my body for the sake of baby girl 🫶🏼

Im really hoping I’ll still be here that last week but I’ve got a strong feeling she may make an early appearance, (you watch now I’ve said that she’ll be 2 weeks past due date 🙈) if any of my clients booked in around then don’t want to risk it and would prefer me to move you over with one of the girls then let me know and I’ll sort it for you. Im going through my diary that last week and I may have to move a few appointments around just to give myself a bit more time and not be running around like the crazy woman I usually am. ✨

You’ve all be telling me for so long to take it steady and look after baby girl so I’m taking your advice, please if you have any questions message me. This does not mean if you have an appointment with me it’s been cancelled if you don’t hear from me your appointment will be going ahead as planned, I just want to say thanks so much to you all for being so amazing with me throughout my pregnancy and putting up with me moaning about my back, you’ve all been with me for a long time now and I think that’s why I’ve booked myself as I have as I don’t want to loose any of you, the joys of being due around Christmas 🎄 anyway if you’ve managed to stick around to read all this love you all lots and I’ll hopefully see you again before I finish 🤍🫶🏼

MATERNITY POST 👶🏼🫶🏼💫🤍

As you’re all aware we’re expecting our first baby November this year, I wanted to do a little post to explain how long I’ll be having off etc ✨

My due date is 22nd nov I’m hoping to work up until Friday 10th November 🙈 all being well

I know from speaking to a lot of my clients you’re hoping to get booked in before I finish however if I’m unable to get you in or you’d prefer closer to Christmas the girls are all amazing and will be able to get you in so you look glam and ready for Christmas.

I will be starting a list of clients names that would like a December appointment with the girls shortly if you’d like to be on this list please send me a message and I can add you, this way we can ensure we get you in during this busy period 🤍

Call me crazy but… depending on the arrival I’m hoping to be able to come into the salon for a couple of afternoons to be able to do weaves and the odd colour however I won’t be able to commit to this until baby b is here so if you’d like to be added to this list please let me know too 🌿

From SEPTEMBER my working days will be changing I will no longer be working every Saturday, instead I will be doing the occasional Saturday for any clients that can not attend weekday appointments. I will be working Mondays Thursday and Fridays my usual hours as long as I can 🤞🏼

RETURNING TO WORK -
I will be returning to the salon the week commencing 15th Jan and I will be back to working my usual days (all being well) 💫 we’re so lucky to have family that are able to help us with childcare to enable me to get back so soon.

I think that’s everything but I’m sure I can update you further if I need to make any changes. If you’ve made it this far I just want to say THANKYOU to all my amazing clients for being so understanding I love you all and ill miss the busy atmosphere we’re all used to in the salon this Christmas im sure I’ll be popping in all the time to see the girls but I promise you next year it’ll be business as usual ✨🤍👶🏼
