Sorry to say but I will be closed today. Following my recent operation I came back to work a little too soon and feeling a little sore. So I’m resting up today and back open tomorrow from 10 .

So after covid I reopened with 22 months behind me wondering what the future would hold for Bosuns. A year on …..
I can honestly say it’s been a blast of a year and have enjoyed every day. Old and new customers frequenting . Thank you everyone for supporting Worthing’s oldest cafe. When I bought it in 2000 I wasn’t sure what to expect!
My customers are family to me and that’s the way it will stay. Thank you so much # #

Eventually reopened after a horrible 19 months. It was hard yesterday. Today was much better. I’m really overwhelmed how Dean has transformed the cafe to what it is now. Thank you darling xx
So now to celebrate 21 years on Sunday 21st November. Breakfast and 5 roasts available on Sunday.! Champagne is mandatory .. first come first served !

Thought we would be reopen for the 5th October but sadly a couple more spanner’s in the works!

Can’t get a coffee machine for love nor money and trust me I am trying.

New plates and cutlery are in short supply too !

Looks like luck is not on our side.!
We were set to finish off the cafe renovation only to be woken up at 3.30 am Sunday to dean’s van getting written off by a drunk driver.
Contents of his van now in cafe as no where else to put it . I’m so gutted xx dean has promised maximum 3 weeks. He can’t work because the van is a right off!

Thanks you t**t that ruined not only your brand new Mercedes Benz but our van and 3 other cars

Just met a lovely couple from London outside the cafe peering in through the window.
We got chatting and turns out she used to frequent the cafe when it was called vittles in the 70’s ! She’s going to dig out some photos for me so I can put them up on the “Bygone “ wall .
Making slightly faster progress on the refurbishment now so fingers crossed not long to go x

Hi everyone
Just a little update!
We have been set back because of short supply of materials, but we are now making good progress. It’s been tough to say the least but our new floor is going down next week… soooo excited!
Dean has been working tirelessly bless him along with working his main job too.
We are now looking at the end of august (fingers crossed we don’t get another lockdown).
I’m working on a new menu as we speak so if you have any suggestions let me know x
