Your blind will be lined in cream luxury soft weave fabric. All rod pockets are sewn into the lining only in calculated pleats and not through to the front fabric, I don't use pocket tape as this is unsightly and can in time come away from the blind, only small stab stitches in a matching thread hold the layers together, this makes the blind look good from outside to. The inserted rods are lightweight and the bottom bar is aluminium to help keep the bottom edge flat. The blind will be threaded and attached to a white corded track with a self locking mechanism which comes with a white pull cord, a chrome cord is available on request if you prefer, the cord hangs neatly down the side of your blind (you can choose which side you would like it to pull up from).

DUE TO THE NEW LEGISLATION IN BLIND CORD SAFETY ALL BLIND TRACKS WILL BE MADE TO THE FOLLOWING STANDARDS:

* Break away connectors on pocket cords on the back of the blind.

* Safety devices will also be supplied to secure the cord to the wall.

Various trimmings are available, some of which can be seen across my shop, such as glass beads, pom poms, fringing and many more, please ask for options.

If you require blackout lining please contact me as this can be added at a small additional cost.

PLEASE NOTE: All photo's of blinds are from other clients and will be of various sizes, linings and trimmings, your blind(s) will be unique to you and may pleat differently according to pattern repeat and calculations, these are a guide to show you various finished products.

Your blind will arrive carefully packaged and ready to hang, it will be delivered to you via a courier for next day delivery after your blind has been completed. Delivery price is only for your first item any other items will be at no extra cost, this is only available to mainland

Measuring:

If your blind is going to be fitted on the outside of your window recess then you need to measure from the point you want it attached to the wall down to where you want it to finish (any trimmings need to included in that drop) plus the width (including any overlap passed the recess to minimise light coming round the edges). If your window sill sticks out more than 1" then you will need to have the drop to sill length as the blind won't have the clearance to fall past. PLEASE NOTE that you will need a minimum of 5cm clearance above your window to accommodate the track.

If your blind is going to be fitted on the inside of your window recess then you need to measure the drop required (this needs to be slightly shy of touching the sill, this should include any trimmings) plus the width (this needs to be 1cm narrower than your recess to allow for movement of the blind going up and down) the track can be window frame/wall/ceiling mounted) check the width and length at different points as window recesses are not always square, if there is a difference you will need to use the smallest measurement. PLEASE NOTE that you need to fit the track so that it has clearance away from the obstruction of the window handles.
