Office Based Fulfilment

The job involves packing small boxes with postcards and invitations. No experience is necessary and training will be provided, other work may be offered, if appropriate.

Who are we? BBS is a small and friendly, owner-managed, mailing house based on the Wrexham Industrial Estate. We send out marketing mailings for a wide range of customers, including retailers and theatres. We also write postal sortation software, which we both use in-house and sell to third parties.

Office hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, with one hour’s unpaid lunch break. Part time work is available.

BBS is a specialist data organisation that manages customer databases and provides mailing fulfilment services. We offer other data services including data cleaning, customer profiling and demographics and we develop software for the postal market. We also carry out email and SMS campaigns.

We currently have a vacancy for someone to join our busy IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible mainly for helping with the control and running of data for mailing campaigns, but may be required to do a variety of clerical jobs and ultimately some software development. The position would suit a school leaver or someone wishing to undertake an apprenticeship.

Flexibility and willingness to learn is expected. In particular we do want a candidate to care about attention to detail and work under strict time deadlines.

Full training will be given on all aspects of the job. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel would be helpful as would qualifications in IT. Training in all internal software will be provided.

Hours of work: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)
