WEEKLY SESSIONS STARTING NEXT WEEK!!!!!
We have secured funding from The National Lottery, The Maelor South Community Council and AVOW young Influencers and would like to say a huge thank you to them for their support in helping to secure sessions for the next 12 Months as well as getting some new equipment, which will be with us shortly.
We are now working with Wrexham Council who will be delivering weekly sessions during term time, starting on Tuesday 7th November 2023, 6pm-8pm from Penley Village Hall.
It will be open for children aged 10+ and is still completely free. We hope everyone had a lovely Halloween yesterday and hope that all of those children that have been before can make it again and spread the word, lets give our children a safe place to meet, socialise and have fun.
We will be needing some Adult Supervisor Volunteers to help continue to deliver the service so if you would be interested in supporting this great project please get in touch please join our Penley Youth club page and send us a message.
We look forward to seeing our young residents of Penley and surrounding areas next week.
UPDATES!
Youth club will temporarily be on hold over the Summer but do not despair though we aim to reopen as soon as possible and hopefully with some exciting news. I would like to thank an organisation called Wrexham Youth and Play Partnership (WYPP) and its amazing team that have supported our project along the way.
Don't forget when you shop at Tesco in Ellesmere to pick up the blue coins and put them in the Penley Youth Club box - 'Every little helps' π€£π€£ Do you like what I did there!
We will be opening again soon so watch this space for more updates. Thank you from the Penley Youth Club Committee.
SUPPORT PENLEY YOUTH CLUB - TESCO COMMUNITY FUND!!!!!!!!
This is the communities chance to come together and support Penley Youth Club, I bet most of you already shop at TESCO Ellesmere, and between the 1st of July until the end of September Penley Youth Club will have a blue token voting space. Start collecting your blue tokens and all you need to do is look for the Penley Youth Club slot, post your tokens into our section to vote for us. The more tokens we can collect the more chance we have.
How it works: There are three community groups each voting round and the community group with the most coins wins the funding! We desperately need funding to keep the project alive, so if you live in Penley and the Surrounding areas you will know how important this is for our young people. They love coming, meeting friends, playing games and earlier this month we even had a summer BBQ.
If your children come to our Youth Club you will already know how much these sessions are loved but without funding we can not guarantee its sustainability. Our aim is to develop the youth club and run weekly sessions, provide better equipment and run workshops but we need funding to do all this so please, please, please remember to ask for tokens when your shopping, post your tokens in the Penley Youth Club slot and share my email.
Thank you πππππππ
