Cardio, the dreaded word🫣
‘Easy cardio’ is a brilliant tool for building fitness, helping recovery & great mentally. For some people, a 20/25 minute dog walk will do the job, others it’s a 60 min bike ride or run.
Try to keep heart rate slightly lower (zone 2 or 115/135 BPM). This should feel like you can hold a conversation👊🏾
Whatever your level of fitness, add in 2/3 sessions a week to compliment your other training sessions & watch your fitness improve ✌🏽

24-hour bike ride collects money in memory of Wrexham couple killed in crash Teacher Nerys Jackson, 57, and her engineer husband John Jackson, 60, were killed following a collision in Shropshire last year.
Our members & staff are currently doing a 24 hour bike ride in memory of one of our members & her husband. 24 hour bike ride is underway, any help will be greatly appreciated for this family local to Wrexham.

“My journey started back in July 2018, with Conor as my P.T. I was your typical yo-yo dieter, with little to no knowledge of how to exercise effectively. I would stick to the treadmill and view the gym as a ‘place of punishment’, due to being over-indulgent.
As a PT, Conor hugely helped develop my knowledge about diet and how to train and exercise more effectively, but his emotional support is what helped me make the change. His drive and compassion to see me as a whole person, not just a client, enabled him to into account my emotional well-being.
The main difference between these two versions is the way I now deal with my emotional well-being and stress. 2018 me would go to food for comfort and hide away after dealing with everyday stresses in-front of the T.V. Myself now, after working with Conor to develop healthier habits, will head to the gym to clear my mind.
Yes, my confidence has shot up and yes, my health has definitely improved, but I think the biggest thing I’ve appreciated learning from Conor during this change is the importance of self love and happiness. The need to create your own happiness and protect your health and well-being is critical.
So even though this post appears to be about my 31kg weight loss, it’s more about the importance of protecting and looking after the most important person, which is yourself.”
