I have been very quiet on instagram recently and this why..

I want to announce this will be my last week at Spartan Training Centre in Ruabon, and I will be moving right into Wrexham.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Jason, (the owner of Spartan) for having the trust in me to grow my business from his gym!

🌟Initial consultation and assessment (60 minutes)
We will go through a medical history and asses your movement patterns in depth. This will enable me to set up an exercise and treatment plan which will help the injury or pain you’re experiencing.

🌟Standard treatment appointments (30 minutes)
The 30 minute sessions allow for us to maintain progress and wellness, enabling you to achieve your goals. These appointments are recommended every 2-3 weeks.

🌟The full body MOT (75 minutes)
This allows for extra time to get you fixed up especially before a big competition, or keeping up with general maintenance. These appointments are recommended every 4-6 weeks.

Great to have Curtis in again this week for some treatment before his first BJJ fight on Saturday

Curtis has trained very hard on this sport and is throwing himself into the ring for his first fight!
We worked on a maintenance session to keep him loosened up and feeling top of his game for Saturday!
He’s a great guy and will do absolutely amazing I’m sure

Fantastic experience this week providing treatment to the players

Helping the lads prepare for their last game of the season

Wow, what a weekend that was! ⚽️

Seeing Wrexham win a league title for the first time in my lifetime!
What a memory this is and it is certainly one that I will cherish forever ❤️🏆

I have been a wrexham fan since I was young and the first time I ever attended a game, I complained “it’s too loud” 😂

Fast forward to seeing us competing up the leagues and dropping down to the non league era, and all the heartbreak that has followed!

It really sank in yesterday, what has happened to our great town and football club. I definitely feel that this promotion has uplifted everyone and the stress of everyday life seemed to ease a little this weekend.

Monika fixed my table and was absolutely brilliant, really appreciate her being able to sort my table out with short notice, she also helps with chairs, sofa’s and anything you need fixing she will sort it for you!

Lovely to have Karen back in the clinic earlier this week. I see Karen regularly for treatment to keep her feeling her absolute best.

Karen runs her own successful health and beauty business, which means she is very busy and is on her feet most of the day, making sure her clients look and feel amazing! 👩🏻

This week we worked on keeping Karen’s upper back and shoulders loose, to ensure they’re not tightening up too much and she is fighting fit.

Jack was in for some treatment for an issue with his back. I asked Jack to do some exercises so I could asses the situation and upon performing a squat, Jack felt a good amount of pain and discomfort in his lower back.

I assessed Jack and found some of the issues that were contributing to his back pain. I wrote up a treatment plan and provided some aftercare advice for Jack to take away to get him back in the gym working out, which was his goal.

I checked in with Jack a couple of days after our appointment to see how he was feeling and the feedback was fantastic! Jack was back training in the gym pain free, what a result!

A client I have seen previously, came to see me in the new Ruabon clinic for some treatment this week,

I worked on Dan’s hamstrings, back and shoulders to help him with muscular tension, that has been building up.

Dan is a keen fitness fanatic, so he knows the importance of having regular maintenance sessions to keep on top of his recovery, to enable him to keep his performance up in the gym. Look forward to seeing you soon Dan!

This is me signing off for Christmas and I wanted to take a moment to say a big thank you to everyone who has booked in with me since opening my own clinic in August.

Gentle giant came to see me for a catch up and a follow on treatment this week.
Zak has had a few very tough weeks training for the Spartan winter gathering and completed a 330kg deadlift and a Atlas stone 195kg lift, which is incredible! 🏋🏼

Zak knows how important it is to keep on top of his recovery, to help him perform at his very best and is one of my regular clients

This week has been a busy one already! I had my lovely client Glyn in this week to help with a pain he was experiencing in upper back. To quote Glyn “it feels like a sharp pain in my shoulder blade”

We undertook an assessment and Glyn had an extremely tight upper back and shoulders, which was stopping him from enjoying his favourite hobby fishing! 🎣

We undertook a treatment using Sports massage and some tool assisted work to breakdown the fascia, after Glyn commented on how he could already had much better mobility within his neck/shoulders, which was great news!

Glyn will now have regular treatment to continue the good work we achieved 🙌

I had the pleasure of treating my client Jim in this week. Jim is a retired teacher, who is now enjoying his retirement after a long and fulfilling career.

Jim came in for treatment on his upper back and shoulder issues, which were causing him discomfort.

This was an area Jim had not had issues with previously and the treatment we used was completely new to him.
Sports massage, some cupping and tool work was used to loosen up the tightness in his upper back and shoulder which worked a treat 👌

Once the treatment was complete, Jim commented that he instantly felt better and the discomfort he had been experiencing was significantly reduced 🙌
