What’s causes cellulite?

It’s not actually know what causes cellulite but it’s speculated to include a few potential factors

▪️ Hormones
▫️ Genes
▪️ Leading an unhealthy lifestyle
▫️ Poor blood circulation
▪️ Age
▪️ Weight loss

What is cellulite?

Cellulite is the result of fat cells underneath the skin pushing upwards on its surface layer. As these fat cells accumulate and push skin upwards, the connective fibres that attach the skin to the underlying muscles pull down, causing the skin to buckle and dimple.

The fat cells and connective tissue in the dermatological layer of women sit vertically, whereas in men they sit in a criss-cross structure, which is perhaps one of the reasons why women are more likely to show signs of cellulite than men. Women’s fat is also typically distributed in the thighs, hips and bottom, common areas for cellulite

Is it really Salmon s***m????

lots of my clients are asking about Polynucleotides, social media is awash with posts, marketing, and product placement at the moment! They have even hit !

So let’s break it down!

Firstly, something you all know I do, try it on myself firstly, then a model at cost if I think it’s a product that gets a result!

I want science, proven results and pharmaceutical grade products - not social media hype!

First question - would I use this treatment on myself?

Hell yeah! Where have they been is my only query?

As an absolute die hard fan of skin boosters and tear trough filler I was blown away!

Will one random treatment do?

Not a chance, do you do your skin care regime once and expect to wake up 10 years younger?

How long does the treatment take?

Well you know I like to talk, but the actual treatment is 15/30 mins. But as always, you get double appointments as no one is rushed with me!

Down time?

In my opinion none! But obviously after care following injections still stands!
No visible lumps or bumps after 6 hours - but has been reported up to 36 hours for these to go (always honest here 🙌)
But there are also going to be needles injected into the area, so bruising is going to be a risk!

How long before I see a difference?
Well these are marketed as results from 7 days - but in my honest opinion- you need to wait a skin cycle so 3/4 weeks!

And I guess the question everyone wants to know?

Is it Salmon S***m?

Well yes but no, you can’t catch a fish and squeeze it in a syringe for the same results. BUT also, yes it is….
This is quite possibly the most asked question! And it’s a good one! The DNA used originates from salmon! Remarkably, salmon DNA is incredibly similar to ours. But rest assured; we are referring only to FRACTIONS of DNA. After the highly specialised clinical filtration and ultra-purification process, there is no ‘matter’ remaining. Even those with allergies to fish are safe to use polynucleotides, with clinical trials reporting NO allergic reactions to date.

Please you should also note that the salmon are not killed to obtain their DNA!

What causes loose skin?

Loose skin can be caused by a few different factors

1, Weight loss

When the skin has been significantly stretched and remains that way for a long period of time, collagen and elastin fibres become damaged. As they result they loose some of their ability to retract which results in loose skin

2, Aging

Aging which unfortunately we can’t prevent. As we age our collegan and elastin levels decline. As skin ages, it loses two important proteins manufactured in the dermis-elastin and collagen

3, Sun exposure ☀️

This can affect your collagen and elastin production also. Sun exposure has been shown to reduce skin’s collagen production which may contribute to loose skin

4, Pregnancy 🤰

Pregnancy hormones and abdominal stretching are the main causes of loose skin after pregnancy.
The underlying structure of the skin is made of collagen and elastin fibres. These fibres stretch to accommodate a growing stomach during pregnancy. After the stomach being stretch for a prolonged period of time the stomach and the skin doesn’t always bounce back which can result in loose skin
