It’s a long one…. Sorry 🥰 At the start of this week I was ready to give it all up, this year has been rough, sales have been ok but everything else has been hard!
Ranging from carbon monoxide poisoning to start the year to ‘covid like’ illness when coming home from a little break away in the summer!
The weather has been awful for the stall (rain is ok but wind is just a dangerous battle that only the wind wins!)
Anyway after sitting in my sewing room feeling sorry for myself for a couple of evenings instead of working hard I looked over at pearl who sadly is aging and struggling to work now and realised that we still have Betsy, she’s 102 years old and loves her job so much, she’s seen so much in her time but still plods on… I can too!

Stall fees are just £20 for the day, and power and water are available.

Reusable sanitary pads has someone shared them? I have had a bit of a run this week… I know a few asked for them at the weekend, I did used to bring them to markets but haven’t for a while, shall I start again 🥰

On average, a person who has periods will use between 5,000 and 15,000 disposable period products in their lifetime, including pads and tampons. This is because people typically use around 22 sanitary products per cycle, and have around 450 periods over their lifetime, which is 3,500 days spent menstruating.
