Thank you to Reverend Mary for coming over to Sutherlands and holding a really personal, thoughtful service for residents this week. It was a beautiful opportunity to bring many of us together in the home, and we also enjoyed lots of hymn singing!

Meet some of our wonderful staff and one of our lovely residents! The ladies came in yesterday wearing their traditional dress especially for our afternoon tea at Sutherlands. It meant so much to us all!

We had a very special visitor at Sutherlands this week… our lovely friend Jack Brock!

We have been so moved by the cards created and written by our residents today to send a thank you to staff, friends and families. It really has put a smile on all our faces… and a bit of a tear in the eye for us all. 💖

We have a beautiful sister care home in North Walsham, Halvergate House, and the gardens are looking gorgeous!

Today we are celebrating the relationship we have with Australia which includes a penpal that we have been writing to for some time. She sends us lovely long letters and photos about her adventures and we're about to open the next one today....

Our sunflower seedlings are turning into toddlers! 🌻🌻🌻🌻

Each resident at Sutherlands is growing a sunflower to plant in their private courtyard garden.

As you can see, the race is on… whose sunflower will grow into adulthood first…?! 🏁

Thank you so much to the wonderful Wymondham Wild Tribe families and Frank the therapy dog who joined us at Sutherlands for maypole dancing and music this week!

It is always such a joy for us to spend time with you all and to welcome you to our care home.

Bacon and leek quiche on the menu this afternoon at Sutherlands. A beautiful summery lunch made for residents by our chef Kym.

Macmillan coffee morning at Sutherlands. So many awesome cake donations. We are all very full of cake. Huge thanks to Joy and lovely volunteers £107 raised.

There is so much at Sutherlands! This week we’ve been using pressed flowers from our gardens to produce some beautiful cards! It’s really lovely to work on little projects like this. 🥰🌷🌺🌸🌼🌻🌹🥰

This treat came from a family run business called ‘Able Cleaning and Hygiene’. We turn to them to make sure we are buying in the very best cleaning products to keep Sutherlands squeaky clean at all times! 🤩

Puzzles at the table and puzzles on a tablet! We’re doing both at Sutherlands and it’s lovely to have the variety 👍🏼
