Perane & Co
We are a professional asset tracing company. Our main focus is finding funds due to UK charities. Perane & Co are offering a solution.
When someone dies without a will, also known as ‘intestate’, the law takes charge of deciding who will inherit that estate. The problem with this system is that thousands of people who are entitled don’t realise they are owed money from a family inheritance. We trace, research and release a portion of the estimated 13,500 unclaimed inheritances to individuals and families who are entitled.

After originally coming to us as a stray, Harvey was rehomed and aged 15, he was planning out his retirement snuggled on the sofa watching the world go by. But then his owner passed away and he suddenly found himself again without a home and without a future. 💔
Despite all this change, Harvey is an adorable boy and just wants somewhere to call his own. He needs to be the only pet in the home and is very worried around dogs so would need to live in a low populated dog area. Meet him this 👉 https://bit.ly/3tJuQF5

If targets for cancer tests and treatment were met instead of waiting times getting worse, tens of thousands more people could have precious extra months with loved ones.
Agonising waits for treatment and tests are turning lives upside down both mentally and physically.
This isn’t fair.
Governments across the UK must take cancer seriously and give people living with cancer the time they deserve.
Politicians across the UK have failed to act for too long. As a result, healthcare systems are unable to cope with demand despite the best efforts of exhausted staff.
We need to see greater funding and support for the cancer workforce, both right now and in the future, so people affected by cancer can get diagnosed and treated quicker. Giving them more time, and ultimately saving lives.
Politicians, what are you waiting for?

Do you have family or close friends serving in Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service?
Would you like to learn more about how to best support their wellbeing following stressful incidents?
Going home after a difficult shift is sometimes a hard thing for first responders to do. But being the ones at home can be equally hard.
We are the first fire service in the UK to trial a programme called Hugs@Home, funded by the charity Movember UK and will be holding two, one-day workshops in February for the friends and family of our staff. They will be face to face sessions, one will be for on-call and one for wholetime.
HUGS@Home helps family members and friends of first responders to provide social support by raising awareness and teaching practical stress management skills.

More than in one in ten deaths across the UK are caused by dementia, making it the nation’s biggest killer. Last year, it robbed the lives of over 74,000 people.
At Alzheimer’s Research UK, we will not stop until we can save people from dementia. And we’ll continue our work to revolutionise the way dementia is treated, diagnosed, and prevented.
But we can’t do this alone. That’s why – with a General Election likely at some point in 2024 – we're calling on all political parties to commit to making dementia a priority.

Parish chest records: What are they, and how can you use them in family history? So-called because they were kept in chests in the parish, parish chest records include churchwardens' accounts, settlement orders, bastardy examinations and more
Giant Hogweed may look harmless, but it can cause serious burns, blisters and long-term skin damage to both pets and humans ⚠️
The stems and leaves of the plant contain dangerous toxins, putting pets at risk even just by brushing against it ☣️ The toxin is further concentrated in the sap released when the plant is damaged or broken, increasing the risk. Although pets may have some protection from their fur, hairless or thin-furred areas (such as the ears, mouth and belly) can be badly affected 😟
Giant Hogweed can be found throughout the UK. Particularly common along river banks, it flowers in June and July and looks like a huge cow parsley plant. Dogs can come across it while exploring undergrowth, so we’re urging pet owners to keep a close eye out when walking their dogs ❗
If your pet comes across it, be sure to wash their coat well with soap and water, whilst protecting yourself using gloves. And if you’re worried, contact your Vet immediately 🐾🩺
It's always lovely to receive thanks from a client. It's even more special to receive beautiful flowers 🥰

Today is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day. Ovarian cancer starts in the ovaries and is the sixth most common cancer in women in the UK. Survival has almost doubled in the last 50 years, but ovarian cancer still claims 11 lives every day.
Symptoms of ovarian cancer include a bloated or full feeling in the tummy, needing to wee more often, and pain in the lower tummy. These are also symptoms of other, less serious conditions, but if you have them, please tell your doctor.

Our future crew are an inspiration to us all. Toby Warren, aged 10, is participating in the Torbay and Devon Civic Award which encourages Citizenship in 10 and 11 year olds. One theme of this award asks the participant to adopt a cause or charity they feel strongly about, research the charity and look for ways to support it. Toby explains he was inspired after watching RNLI volunteer crews on Saving Lives at Sea and decided to fundraise for the RNLI.
A keen artist, Toby thought about holding a colouring competition at his school. Creating three colouring sheets he went around each class selling the sheets for 50p. He organised judges and awarded prizes to the winning entries, raising £45.
On a recent visit to the Lake District, Toby raised £55 from a sponsored climb of Skiddaw Mountain. Accompanied by his parents and grandfather, Toby says it took them nearly seven hours to complete the 931m ascent of Skiddaw.
Asked why he chose Looe RNLI to receive his donation, Toby explained his family were spending a long weekend around Looe. He was aware of our lifeboat station and knew our volunteer crews were there to keep them safe, so he wanted to visit RNLI Looe Lifeboat Station to say thank you.
Last Sunday 7 May 2023, Toby and his family were greeted by our volunteer boathouse guides Mike McAuliffe and Jim McLeod, who with our Lifeboat Press Officer, Ian Foster, showed them around the station’s launch tractors and inshore lifeboats.
On behalf of our volunteer crew, Ian, Mike and Jim congratulated Toby on his amazing fundraising and thanked him for his donation of £110, which will help our crews continue to
