Providing compassionate care to clients in their own home. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.

Duties:

- Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting

- Support clients with mobility around the home

- Help in the safe lifting, transferring, and repositioning of clients

- Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship

- Assist in the implementation of individual care plans

- Maintain accurate records and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour

Skills:

- Ability to drive is desirable for this role

- Proficient in English with good written and verbal communication skills

- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and colleagues

- Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes

- Ability to follow and implement care plans effectively

Hard one to explain, 9 unavailable against a side we sit 50/50 with when it comes to wins/losses.

Take nothing away from York Shamrocks FC top side that panned us pre season. ☘️

Everything just came together for us, as a team we refused to be beaten to anything and battled for everything. 🦾

5 minutes in, Danny Phillips, fired a long shot low and fast into the bottom right corner to put us 1-0 up inside the first 5, from that moment the full team turned into clinical finishers. 👏🏻

There’s to many to mention so I’m going to pick the few that were just outrageous.

James Griffo, left foot, 25 yards out top corner of the net, unreal. 🤢

Callum Hannigan, 8 goals and 8 assists in 8 games 😳 a fantastic R1 Circle from a fair distance out. 😎

Jack Stott, absolute worm skimmer to celebrate a goal on his birthday. 🪱

MOTM - Yesterday was a team effort but let’s take a minute to talk about Alex Day in this cup, wow, yesterday was ridiculous, outside of the foot assists to full volley’s being fired into the bottom corner. Unreal mate 🦾

🔵🟡 Semi Final, here we come 🟡🔵

Great day in the sun as we secure our place in Semi Final of the leauge cup. ☀️

Yesterday was a great battle between two side who only have this cup left in the season, it was one a piece for us and Barmby Moor this year, with us taking the win at theirs and them taking the win at ours. 🤝

We started strong and got the ball on the floor, a few mishaps and heavy legs but in that heat it’s to be expected. 🤢

On the 15 minute mark, Jamie Kirby fired a lovely ball onto the path of Callum Hannigan who makes its 7 goals and 4 assists in 7 Games ❄️

Barmby Moor were composed with a response, they maintained a good defence wee weren’t clinical enough with our finishing. 🕯️

They were soon rewarded for there resilience and stole a goal, game on 😎

We tried and tried again, some of saves from the Barmby number 1 were outrageous. 👏🏻

Then as per usual Alex Day decides he’s had enough and goes on a mad solo run firing an R1 circle to the bottom left 🤩

Brilliant effort from the lads and an even better from the team as a response to a bang average season.

🔵🟡 On to the quarters 🟡🔵

Yesterday we made our way to Knaresbrough in an attempt to secure our spot in our second Quarter final of the year. 👊🏻

Make no mistakes about it, the Celtic side is a very capable side with talent all across the field. 🍀

For the first 45 minutes it was end to end with both keepers doing more than enough to keep the on field play competitive. 🥅

Just after the 45 minute mark Celtics hit a well worked half volley into the bottom right corner, leaving us with some work to do. 😫

We had been good up to this point but we stepped it up a gear in what was an our best team performance in a long time. 😎

With 30 minutes to go, one of the boys was brought down outside of the area. 🤨

Callum Acko, with and outrageous free kick effort saw us bring it back to 1-1. ❄️

Like rats on fire we pressured everything. From the front to the back, we were soon rewarded when Alex Day places a long ball into the feet of James Smith who saw his opportunity for his 17th goal of the season. 🐀

2-1, changes made from both sides only made the game more exciting, questions were being asked but the back 4 remained strong and organised. 🦾

Then out of no where a stray ball picked up just near the half way line saw Callum Hannigan do somthing most won’t get to see on a football field, he saw the keeper on the outside of his area and took a chance, he hit it perfectly, swooping in just under the crossbar, unbelievable effort. 🤢

MOTM - Sean Stockdale, stepped in a CB knowing we had limited options, hard to say that’s not his primary position, first to everything, impossible to get past. 🤩

Onto the quarters next week at Chesney.

There are currently around 900,000 people with dementia in the UK. This number is expected to rise sharply in the coming years.

A few lads from the local football team we sponsor are doing a skydive to raise money for Dementia Forward. They are a charity that is recognised as a vital source of information, advice and support for people living with Dementia.

Please help Leigh get to his goal of raising £1,000 for this amazing cause! I know Dementia has affected the majority of people that we know!
